I haven’t been to Chimichangas in years, pre Covid. Decided to give it a try again. We found great service, great food, an updated, clean and bright restaurant. We used to go there a lot and our server still remembered us. If you haven’t been there in a while go back, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant with a good atmosphere try Chimichangas on South Grand.

Best margaritas in St Louis, and the food is just as good!
This place has to be the best kept secret on South grand. My food was amazing the service was stellar. I cannot find a flaw in my experience anywhere. Happy I live a few blocks away!

I ordered the chili poblanos and they were fired. I wasn't able to take a picture because they didn't last long enough LOL. And I recommend the house Margaritas because the glass they come in make you feel like a champ

I got lost on the bus… and found my way here.. let me start off by saying this place is a hidden gem. The happy hour goes until 9pm. The puffy tacos are delicious and well seasoned. I needed napkins at one point because I only had one. My only complaint is that they didn’t check on me. They Only asked me if I needed the check. To be fair it was pretty steady traffic for a Wednesday evening. I would definitely still recommend to give it a try if you are interested.

Good Mexican food. The chips are super light and fluffy/crispy. Seafood enchiladas were pretty good. Service was excellent.

Waiter got the order wrong then gave up waiting on us after bringing the food out. The food was sub-par. The service was a joke. Will never go again.
Chimichanga Mexican restaurant allowed customers to Make fun of my Handicap Sister and threw all of us out but they allowed the people making fun of Becky to stay then they called the Police we were leaving as the police pulled up.Chimichanga was also allowing the people to Vape inside the Restaurant that's against the Law I'm Boycotting chimichanga Mexican Restaurant that's not Right that they put all of us out but let them stay we will Never step foot back in that place we've been customers there since the day they Opened for Business. And this is the way they repay loyal customers that's not good Business Management At all they expect everyone to just sit there and allow them to Make fun of her ????????????????????

This was the worst experience I ever had at chimichangas, We order lunch special. We were served a children's portion, and had to pay for extra beef & chicken with the fajita. But the Mango Margaritas where delicious.
