This was my first experience at China King! I liked the breading on my general tsos chicken. It was really crispy but not super thick. The flavor of the fried rice reminded me of hibachi, you could tell it was cooked at a really high heat that kept it from being gummy or sticky. The crab Rangoon was also yummy! The only thing I didn’t love was the egg roll. The wrapper and size reminded me more of a sring roll and it was more peppery in flavor than I am used to. Not spicy just the white pepper flavor was overpowering.

Today’s fine-in General Tso was both beautiful and DELICIOUS. I had to wait a little bit but everything was so very fresh, the portions were generous, and I was pleasantly surprised that the breaded chicken breast was crispy under the heavy sauce. Focus is on friendly service and a treat of a meal.

I forgot to take pictures before devouring my food. I ordered chicken wings and 2 chicken egg rolls. My husband ordered Mongolian beef with white rice, everything was delicious!
The chicken wings were fresh, well seasoned and had the perfect crisp.
They weren't that busy but had a few customers waiting.
The lady who took my order was very friendly.
I would definitely return.

Delicious. Nice portions. Large really is large. I like the shrimp. Cooked perfectly. Some places will overcook shrimp but not the King. Very friendly. Clean. Recommended.

This was my go to place back when I lived in the area 8 yrs ago. We are now out in High Ridge and I have been craving chinese the choices by our house have been majorly disappointing. So I decided to stop back by here on my way home from work for some takeout. I got home and realized the food was different from before and was kinda bummed but then I ate it and all I can say is WOW!!! The fried rice was so flavorful and fresh. The general tsos was good chunks of tender meat in a crunchy coating and the sauce was sooo good! I usually am a hardcore sweet over savory crab rangoon gal but I was pleased with their crab rangoon. It was comfortably in the middle. My son had the beef and broccoli and he said it was fresh and delicious. My husband said the egg rolls were some of the best he has had in awhile. We will definitely be back and making this our go to place even though its not as close as other places to us:) Everyone in there was also very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. it was a bit more pricey than most but the freshness and taste of the food was worth it!!

This China King is under New Management and when I tell you I went at the beginning of November 2024, ordered Chicken Egg foo yu and Fried gizzards .... DELICIOUS!!!
The gravy on the Chicken egg foo yu is so good and their Fried gizzards are the best in St Louis, they practically melt in your mouth and the onions help make the flavor. And the food was fresh, hot and soooo good.
This husband and wife team know how to cook, they are respectful and kind, and have not only my respect but will have my business from now on.

priced bit higher than most take outs. but i really like the food regardless. dishes of note: honey garlic chicken, asian chili chicken, pad thai, and bourbon chicken. get the chicken as boneless or as wings (minus bourbon) then as a combo.

Their food is fantastic! I do not live that close to them but i now go out of my way just to get it. The chicken has this crunch and cooked very well. Not soggy breaded fatty chicken. The general tso sauce is delicious! The rice has a wonderful flavor and the egg rolls and crab rangoon were perfect! Nothing overly fried or oily or mushy. The employees were wonderful. Very nice attitude, not afraid to explain something if you have a question. Stop by and give it a try, hopefully you find what i found in them. Great job China King! Keep up the good work.🙂

Delicious food and great hospitality. There was an overcharge on my order that I paid for. I called them to complain, and the owner was so polite about the situation and refunded me the difference with no problem. Every time we go there, the people are always very nice. And all the food we've had so far is really good. I'm glad I was able to find a restaurant such as this, that is pleasant to come to, with delicious food.

This was our first time going and the food was amazing ! The sesame chicken and mushroom chicken were amazing. Egg rolls were perfectly fried and seasoned perfectly. Fried wontons were some the best I have ever had. Definitely going back!
