The lo mein noddles were very salty. The broth was flavorful. I liked the Shrimp St. Paul sandwich, I added my own cheese and mayo to avoid the up charge.

The customer service was fine. I called in my order and the lady was pleasant, and answered any questions that I had.The chicken fried rice was ok. The place is outdated, but it was clean. My issue was with Hot Braised Chicken platter. The chicken was over cooked, and not edible. It was extremely hard. Also, it didn’t look like the Hot Braised chicken that I’m use to. The chicken was cut into different sizes which was weird. It was disappointing since that was the main reason I went there was for the Hot Braised Chicken. The fried rice that came with it was too greasy to eat.

These people are very rude. I called to place an order but had a question about an item. The lady said some really fast that I didn't understand but what I did understand she said was "you come in look at menu" & she hung up. I will not patronize this restaurant again ever. Food is pretty decent, I got the veggie fried rice, chicken lo mein, and crab rangoon. This place is cash only. I called ahead to pick up an order and still waited 20min. when I came in for it. Customer service isn't the kindest, so you have to be quick and to the point when you order, so see the menu ahead before stepping up to order or calling in for pick up. There's extra charges for anything additional you want.Just about everyone from the area knows this place or comes here often and enjoys the food.

I’ve been patronizing this place for years so to be insulted today was hurtful. I always over-looked their “CASH ONLY” policy which is an inconvenience at times such as today. I didn’t feel like going to the bank or paying an ATM fee so I dug in my arm rest for stray moneys that I throw in there…and because they said the bill looked old, they would not accept it. They even marked it with the marker and held it up to the light and saw it was real and STILL insulted me saying we see it’s real we just don’t want to accept it because it’s look old…I then went right next door and swapped the bill with NOOO problem. Chop Suey Inn “claim” the bank wouldn’t accept it, which is a lie…the bill was in great condition with no rips or tears…just dusty from smoke ashes. But, we all know your moneys isn’t going to any type bank to be kept track of…that’s why your establishment does “CASH ONLY”…to evade taxes. No one is stupid…I will no longer be back and hope they provide better service for the future customers because WE the Customers pay your bills and deserve to be treated with respect.

Been eating here since a kid and I think its the best chinamen rice in the Lou, but the customer service is HORIBLE! They hella disrespectful. I dread going in there to pick up food so I don't go as much anymore
Poor customer service!!!! Didn't get a chance to order because when I called, asked to place a pick up order and told them I wanted chicken chop suey they told me they don't have it and hung up on me. They must not want my hard earned money. Go somewhere else, because no one deserves to be treated like crap just for trying to order something to eat! I bet if black people boycotted this location they would change their attitude!! Go to Year of the Dragon instead, they have good food and customer service.

They have good food but I have tried to go there to order food 20 min before they are supposed to close and they locked the doors as I was walking to them around 8:30 pm and they close at 9;00 pm. Very disrespectful!
