Well this will be a review like no other. Restaurant closed at 10pm. I get there about 9 pm or close to 9. A whole hour before closing I try to order Mac/cheese I was told it’s too late evening we’re about to closed. I said Don’t you closed at 10pm? She said yes. But we’re out of Mac/cheese. I said alright can I order some other side. She said no it’s late. Chicken and few biscuits was all left. I can’t get fresh chicken it looks like that chicken been setting for awhile. She said no. I said just give me the chicken. Damn.

I went to one on South Kingshighway they bit off my biscuit 🤣🤣🤣
This is the best fast food fried chicken I have ever had. Chicken is an absolute 10/10. The fries were good, but just needed salt. Also the best fast food Mac N cheese ever. Even as good as homemade.
The people inside were extremely nice and homey. All the customers were the same and talked to each other.

This was incredibly horrible. The chicken was old it was not even edible we didn't even get the macaroni and cheese or the corn on the cob I've never ever had a meal that was this bad. And I'm going to be honest with you 30 minutes later if I was not feeling well it was a bad situation. I will never hear again I had to call Roto-Rooter just to unclog my bathroom toilet. The biscuits were amazing though.
Everything about this place is ghetto & nonchalant.
During my last visit there (after 25yrs.+), I made a corny woodchuck joke after I lost the nerve to crack' my original one as the older lady's (worker) attitude became more clear (I just wanted to cheer-'her'-up). I pressed forward w/the joke & she lost it on' me (I guess because it was so bad a joke). The energy in the entire place (customer's & crew's) shifted as they seemed to be caught between my corny joke & her overdramatic reaction. I was handed my food after being berated, & I left to never return (despite being a student attending S.L.U., right next door).
The atmosphere is usually only good when Leon is there, but even he was no help in that horrible situation despite being present. I usually don't get what I order, anyway; so, it's not much of a loss.

The clerk at the register that takes orders personality is so wholesome and bubbly that I passed up several Church's just to go here for food. You hardly find good customer service anymore and it's sad where your spending your money. My food has always been hot and fresh as well. The other staff members were very nice to. Great crew

To begin it didn't even smell like they were frying chicken. I spent almost $40 only to be disappointed. The workers are rude and if they don't have something they offer on the menu they offer nothing in place of the missing menu item. Waited all that time for food to be cold. Jalapeno cheese bombers had to be sitting for over 15 minutes. They were lukewarm and terrible! The chicken was too high too. Makes me rethink eating at fast food establishments. It's just horrible!
