Exceptional food! Came for Valentines Day and loved the garlic alfredo spinach pizza, fresh vinaigrette salad, and the best buttery garlic cheese bread with marinara dip. Not sure where the negative reviewers ate but it wasn’t at River City Cibare. Came from DSM for three nights, fabulous time!

I had a wonderful dinner at Cibare Italian Restaurant inside River City Casino & Hotel. I grabbed a seat at the bar by myself during dinner time while waiting for the casino drawing giveaway, and it turned out I didn't win, but I was able to enjoy something new.
I started with the toasted ravioli, which came out hot and fresh with a really good beef filling--classic and comforting. I also ordered the garlic cheese bread, and it did not disappoint. It was thick, fluffy, and cheesy with the perfect cheese pull as I pulled the bread apart. Dipping it into the creamy marinara sauce was the perfect complement to both appetizers.

The only slight disappointment was realizing the menu had changed. While looking up previous reviews and menus before ordering, I came across spinach & cheese arancini fried balls that I was really excited to try. When I went to order them, I found out they had swapped that option for a Sicilian sausage version instead, which just wasn't something I was interested in trying.
That said, the quality of the food I did have was excellent, and I will try some of those pasta dishes and pizzas in the near future, I'd just love to see some of those older favorites make a return.

This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast! I don't gamble, but I will go to the casino just for this place. The coffee is good, the food is good, and the pastry is good and looks beautiful!

My husband and I come here often, and we’ve never had a bad experience. The food is consistently great and the service is always friendly. Last night we tried the Bianca pizza (white sauce, garlic, and spinach + with added chicken)…. seriously one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in St. Louis. Easily beats Pastaria in Clayton, no contest.

I’ve also had several of their salads and chicken entrées, and everything has been solid every time. Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews…maybe those folks just had a rough night at the casino, because this place never disappoints.

On-line menu is not updated. There is no sea bass or short ribs. The chef was very accommodating to make me gluten free chicken picatta.

This is the worst Italian restaurant I think I’ve ever been in. Maybe if you order the pizza you might survive. Capricious salad was made yesterday. Chicken piccata was edible fried piece of chicken breast that was hard to cut with a sharp knife. Pasta was ridiculous overcooked. They must’ve microwaved the bag. It came out of too long. I wouldn’t feed my dog this food because I like my dog.

This was one of the worst Italian places I've ever been! Food was substandard and so was our waitress! To start, the pasta is pricey since it comes with nothing, no bread, no salad, all an extra charge! I had the seafood dish in a red sauce. It was bland, the clams and mussels were so small there were hardly anything in them. The shrimp was an OK size but they don't take the tail off. The pasta was like sticky over cooked spaghetti! Terrible!! This is 28 dollars! My wife had the Chicken Alfredo which wasn't too bad, but still not that good! At 18 dollars! Our waitress took our order, had someone from the kitchen bring it out and never refilled my tea or even asked if we liked the meal! I left a 8% tip instead of the 15 or 20% which is what I normally tip with good service because she virtually did nothing! I watched after we left to her reaction and if looks could kill, I would have been dead!! This is one place we will never come back to!!! Just Bad all the way around for being in a fancier setting!!!

great little place if you can catch it open. small menu but food is delicious. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. The croissants are enormous and like tasted freshly made. I had the breakfast sandwich on the croissants. yum!! burrito was just good, nothing special. coffee is the bomb!! superb coffee flavor! Staff was nice on an early Sat morning wasn't busy at all. Plenty of tables to sit and eat and spacious dining.. we spent $35 that included tip for two coffees and two breakfasts.

Seriously one of the worst dining experiences ever. I opted to sit at the bar because it was busy and I was dining at the bar. 10 minutes sitting before I was even acknowledged. Finally the bartender said she'd be right with me. 5 minutes later she took my order for a sweet tea and their "speciality" lasenga. 5-10 minutes later I received my food but still no drink. The food tasted like it was made a week ago, frozen, and reheated. The edges were even hard. Finally I received my drink, but the whole experience was terrible
