Me and my co workers came here when we visited St. Louis for a site visit. Loved the outside area, bet it’s nice in warmer weather. The beers were good, I had their Czech Pilsner. We also ordered a lot of food off the menu to share. Wish the pot pie had a little more salt but everything was still good!
Delicious beer, extra friendly staff, laid back environs. Not sure I could manufacture a complaint. One of my three favorite St. Louis craft breweries. Update 2025: expanded food options in the past couple of years including Soup Sundays. Solid. Still love the place.
Great food, great beer, and great folks in a great space. They really have it all—even a patio! Civil Life was already my favorite brewery, but they went above and beyond to take us under their wing and make everything fun and easy for us when we had one of their casks at our wedding earlier this month! They have cask beers available on draft if you're into cask beer, which is a whole world I knew nothing about but am now very much into after learning more about the cask...
