Before their great beer could be found in cans at your local grocery store, there was the Civil Life Brewing Company tap room and restaurant. Great craft beer and perfect pub food & comfort food served in a German brew house style space. Fantastic outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to South City.
The best traditional brewery I’ve been to. If you love malty, European style beers you owe it to yourself to stop by. The atmosphere is like an English pub, complete with a slate tally board at the bar. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. There is not a beer I’ve tried from here that was not delicious. I cannot recommend it enough
Had lunch at The Local House in Arnold, saw the Brown Ale on the menu so tried, OMG I was blown away that stuff was Delicious!!! Of course I had to have a few more to be sure it was that good and didn’t Disappoint!!!!!
