This places croissants and dessert trick me into coming back in every time but the service here is exhausting. Came here three separate times and had the same experience. No urgency or communication from any of the staff as you wait at the counter for countless minutes just to order.

I had probably the best coffee from Ecuador I have ever had here, a Typica Mejorado from Jose Jijon and roasted by September in Canada. Brewed on an origami, this was sweet, memorable, and delicious with a long finish. Brewed to order after waiting in a long-ish line, this was worth the wait. Wonderful.

We have tried many coffee shops in St. Louis but keep coming back to Comet! The drinks are always great and the service too. Multiple baristas have remembered us coming in (even though we aren’t local) and asked us how our drinks were the day before. We also tried the Tahini cookie and it was delicious.

I moved away from St. Louis more than a decade ago, but I still long for Comet Coffee. The coffee, the chocolate chip cookies, the croissants.... oh how I miss thee. Visiting again soon! Staff is always kind, friendly, and food and drinks are ALWAYS on point. Comet Coffee NEVER misses.

Comet Coffee has become an almost-daily ritual. I love walking in and seeing the beautiful looking and delicious smelling pasties. The staff is so friendly and have provided great recommendations. I always look forward to going there :)
My favorites (so far) there are the Alaska Big Sur espresso, dirty chai w oat milk and a pump of lavender, and their matcha latte with oat milk and a pump of lavender.
Also they have great extras for sale! Excited to try them!
