Corner 17 has THE BEST Chinese food around! The hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, baos, chicken skewers, wontons, wonton soup, and fried rice are all absolutely delicious..and you get very generous portions for a fair price! We have never eaten in (we always order to go), but the little interaction I've had with the staff when I've picked up my orders has always been positive! Also, I REALLY appreciate the updated to-go bags...they're way more durable (I don't have to worry about my hefty order potentially breaking through the bottom like with the standard brown paper bags) and the insulation inside helps keep our food nice and hot until we're ready to chow down! Thank you, Corner 17...keep up the AWESOME work!

This is one of my favorite places to get Taiwanese/Szechuanese cuisine in the metro! It can get crowded at times, but service is always fast and everything is prepared fresh and hot! My favorites are the wontons in chili oil and hot pepper chicken. I wished they'd use hotter peppers instead of bell peppers. Other than that, Delicious.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "Good, with a Twist of Fun!"Service Beyond the Standard: ?‍♂️From the moment we were seated, Jay, our server, turned what could have been a typical dining experience into an unforgettable evening. Not only did he accommodate all our whims with a smile, but he also brought a personal touch that made us feel more like friends than customers. Huge shoutout to Jay for his exceptional dedication!Decor That Dares to Differ: ?The interior might not be everyone's cup of tea with its bold lime green walls and quirky, elementary-school-esque chairs, but it certainly adds character. Although the decor left me a bit underwhelmed for a place with such a buzzing reputation, it's clear that Corner 17 focuses on what truly matters—the food and the service.Culinary Comforts: ?️While the Teriyaki Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken might not have revolutionized my taste buds, they solidified Corner 17’s status as a go-to for hearty, well-executed dishes. The food is undeniably good—simple yet satisfying, with a homey, Americanized twist on classic East-Asian flavors.Reflecting on the Feast: ??Corner 17 may not completely transport you with its aesthetic, but it certainly knows how to deliver a solid dining experience with its service and reliable menu. It’s the perfect spot for those looking for a casual yet enjoyable meal, where the focus is squarely on filling your stomach and warming your heart.Final Thoughts: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "Reliably Delightful!""Don't come for the decor, stay for the delightful dishes and the top-notch service. Corner 17 proves that sometimes, simplicity is the spice of life."Whether you're a local or just passing through, Corner 17 promises a meal where fun and flavor are guaranteed. This isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience worth sharing. ??

We had a slightly longer wait time than expected when we arrived for dinner service. The food was generally good, and the prices were reasonable. However, we were not particularly impressed with their rice shumai, although the rest of our order met our expectations. The service we received was average. Our server did not provide any recommendations when we were contemplating on what to order, even though it was our first time at the restaurant. Despite this, I would be willing to return in the future to try more items from their menu.

It was our first visit to St Louis and we visited this place after checking the reviews; we instantly fell in love with this place and it's ambience. The place was crowded but the service was quick, we ordered spicy boiled fish entree and a Mala stir fry with ramen noodles. The food was DELICIOUS and we would like to go back whenever we visit the city.

Amazing food and fantastic service - being able to watch them make fresh noodles through the window was an extra little part of the fun. This wasn't our first choice for the night (the BBQ place nearby sold out of food) but it was honestly probably a better experience than we would have had there.

We were told to wait 35 minutes but we ended up waiting for an hour. But for Chinese food, we shall wait Meanwhile we bought Smoked oolong bbt, less sweet. It was very legit! We ordered the beef tripe cold dish, it’s chewy and spicy, worth ordering if you can handle spice. The beef hand-pulled noodles were a little disappointing as the noodles were mushy and not chewy as it should be. Eggplant dish was very yummy too, we drenched our rice bowls with the sauce!

Went here for my birthday. We were introduced to the restaurant in November by friends. The food was great. My son, who is 8, loved watching the noodles being made. He also was willing to try new food which is unusual. The staff is amazing and very nice. This has become one of our favorite spots to eat. Must try the pork bau.Kid-friendliness: So nice to my son, he was nervous. Watching the noodles being made is a huge game changer.
