The food was great and very inexpensive, our server what's nice, friendly and helpful.
It's a diner! Food was good. Would recommend for a solid meal, not fancy but not fast food.
Very good food and service, kinda pricey and odd combo of music
Grilled ham and cheese was fantastic. Nice thick ham!!! Wife had the chili dog especially liked that it was cut in half and grilled then chili added!!! Our kid devoured the grilled cheese and my mom loved the frito pie!!! Whenever we are in the area we will stop in again!! Staff very accommodating and friendly!!!!
Just a good old fashioned diner

Old style diner, great food, service great and reasonable prices. Watch out, cash only but don't let that keep ypu away.

The breakfast spot had its charm, with a friendly and adorable elderly woman serving the tables, adding a warm, homely touch to the experience. The food was enjoyable and well-prepared. However, the worn-out and bent silverware, old cups detracted from the overall experience, leaving room for improvement in maintaining the dining essentials.

We have been frequent customers of the Courtesy Diner for many many years. The best "hole-in-the-wall" diner in St. Louis, IMHO. Our go-to one was on S. Kingshighway, but that one has since closed. Over the years, my wife and I have tried pretty much all that they have to offer on the menu. My favorite has always been the Slinger. Such a strange combination of flavors, but so tasty! It'll definitely fill you up. Their burgers, Chili Mac, regular breakfast items, everything is just amazing! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean (unless during a rush. Then the floor can get a bit messy. They're quick to come in with a sweep after a table leaves, though. On top of it!) Though we no longer live in STL, this restaurant is a must when we are in town. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are great. Can't wait to go back and devour another slinger. Side note: Cash Only... but they do have an ATM on site.
Parking: There are around 8 or so parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
