Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We both had Steak tips which were tasty, but I'd suggest that you marinate them or something. They were rather chewy. Rest of our meals were great! We love Cracker Barrel! You always get plenty of food and you don't leave hungry!

I will not say it's bad but I seen 5-6 empty tables and a line of 8 other families waiting for a table.

We arrived and were seated immediately. Our server, who's name was Grace did a great job. She was friendly and checked on us frequently. Our food was exactly as ordered and was delivered quickly. Loved shopping at the store too.

Parking: Plenty of handicapped parking spots for those that needed it.

Our food was barely warm. We waited a long time for service as there were big parties in the restaurant that had ordered before we came in. When our food came out, it was just thrown on the plate. My two pieces of bacon was a pile of broken pieces of overcooked cold bacon. My pancakes were so cool that that the butter didn’t melt at all.
Our waiter came in to bring drinks, food and the bill. He never came to check on us.

Parking: Lots of parking for pickup but regular places were hard to come by.

I love Cracker Barrel. And who doesn't love the potato casserole. I always do carryout breakfast and order an Extra side of casserole to go with the one I get with breakfast plate. Very disappointed to get home and find 2 half-filled containers with the last of the serving pan burnt edge scrapings. Absolutely Inedible!! No one with concern of serving good food would or should ever serve that. Wish I took a picture, but I was so mad I of just threw straight in can.

We have been disappointed the last 2 visits at this location. The portions are smaller (even the biscuits), food temp was lukewarm, too many dishes with your order. We were still eating and waitress tried to put a to-go box on the table. There literally was no room, so she took it away. I felt rushed because of this.
Food quality has gone downhill.

Good food and wonderful service.

This was a terrible experience. We waited a very long time to get our food. The waiter finally came over and asked if we would like to have our biscuits while we waited after 4 other tables that were seated before us had food. At no point did the manager come over, not even when my husband tried to get her attention. The tables surrounding us were left dirty the entire time we were there. Our food tasted fine but had obviously been sitting for a while since it was luke warm. It will definitely be a long time before I eat here again, if I ever do.

Other than the rude hostess named Krystal having an attitude, her lack of speedy service to seat us while there were plenty of open seats and her less than enthusiastic attitude towards cleaning off a table for us to sit at, the over all experience wasn’t bad. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating and made up for the hostess’s poor behavior. The food could have used more seasoning but again not the worst trip to CB.

This is the second time that the food was disappointing. Mu granddaughter's pancakes were so cold that the butter wouldn't melt, and her bacon was just as cold. My mashed potatoes moved as one piece, and the white gravy was like water. I won't be back.
