Friendly neighborhood joint with good food, great atmosphere, attentive servers and reasonably-priced drinks -- what's not to love?

Not good. My meal was overcooked and had no real taste to it. Wasn’t just my meal but who I was with also their meal was overcooked as well. On top of that there were a ridiculous amount of flies attacking us. When I used the restroom numerous fruit flies or gnats came off the urinal at first also. Our server was sitting nearby on her phone most of the time.

There is no good reason that it took over 45 min for 2 people to get 1 app and 2 entrées during a non-busy lunch. The appetizer (spicy chicken wontons) while creative, took 30 min and was not even warm when it arrived. The entrées were also not that warm, but the sandwich I got was pretty good (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but the fries were not warm, and my BFs burger was flat with wilted floppy lettuce and no onions pickles tomato, even tho he was specifically asked if he wanted that when ordering. The waitress was almost never at our table unless delivering food, so we were unable to correct the lack of burger toppings before the already cold food froze over. She wasn't even the one to bring the check, I had to have another staff member get it for us. Finally the fan blades above us looked like they had been spun thru concrete and allowed to dry, but that's because they were CAKED in dust, clearly never been cleaned. Also, there were at least 2 what looked like insect (maybe spider) nests in the ceiling texture. Overall, I'm not impressed and not returning, which is a shame because I've heard pretty ok things about it.

Consistent food- very good for a neighborhood spot! It's not fancy, but that's not what I am looking for in a comfortable place. Great drinks. Friendly bartenders and servers. Good atmosphere.
Everything we have ever eaten at Crafted has been exceptional. Cooked to order perfectly and even the presentation is unique and memorable. Great place to relax or to come for a special celebration...we went again for our anniversary!!

Somewhat of a disappointing experience: when we placed our order for dinner, somehow the server did not press the right buttons to send the order back to the kitchen, so it never got made. The server was very friendly and apologetic for the error, but it seems like this restaurant needs to work out its internal systems better. I had the steak frites which was decent, if overcooked. My wife had the Caesar salad, which was fine, though the dressing was unusually heavy on the anchovy. Restaurant dining is so expensive these days, it really is important for the restaurant to provide a better meal than I could cook at home. That’s not what I got on my first visit to Crafted.

Would recommend only buying drinks here. Nice atmosphere, cocktails looked cute (I drank beer), but the food was bad. Not one pinch of seasoning on my mac and cheese entree. Disappointing.
