It seems like this is a great LOCAL bakery and should stick to LOCAL.
I ordered a pineapple upside down cake on Dec 30 as it looked like it could be delivered on Jan 2 which was the specific intention and purpose of ordering this at all to be delivered ON my sister’s birthday. She recently lost her partner to cancer and her partner always made this cake for her birthday so it was very sentimental.
I chose my delivery date and AFTER I paid I received an email that it was closed until Jan 2. I immediately emailed that I may need to cancel as that was the whole point of ordering.
Mark from “customer service” replied via email that I supposedly should have seen that they were closed until January 2nd on their website as well as when I chose my delivery date. That is illogical because why would I then be surprised enough to email them about it after getting the closure news AFTER purchase.
I replied that it didn’t say they were closed anywhere on their site after I went back to their site to make sure. The only thing close to this info was a drop down menu saying I was fine with delivery after January 1st which obviously was fine as I specifically wanted Jan 2nd.
I want to cancel and have started a dispute with my bank as well as emailing them that I have done so. I just KNOW that they will pull the old “it’s already been made” after reading their “refund policy”
It’s very shady to not reply or acknowledge in any way and then feign that -oops it’s already been made so no refund.
I have yet to receive any shipping notification and reached out via email Jan 3 and today with no reply as well as called today and left a message
I can almost guarantee after reading reviews online that I’ll get some snarky “customer service “ reply - which honestly is even worse than receiving bad service in the first place.
I will own my part that I should have researched more to see that they are a small business not located in the state I wanted it delivered but at the time I assumed maybe they partnered with other bakeries in different locales kind of like what flower delivery services do. I should have read reviews online as well before ordering as their terrible and rude responses are a huge red flag.
I was just so excited by the possibility of having this sentimental moment that I didn’t research better.
And No Mark or whoever replies to reviews- I am not a Karen. I am a small business owner who understands how difficult it is dealing with running a business and difficult clients/customers.
You definitely need to think twice about shipping orders and be more specific about your ability to do so. Stay local until you implement better practices.
Peace

First time ordering and won’t be my last! Thank you for the perfect birthday cake for my coworker. My friend who picked up stated there was no sign indicating where the door was so she did go in a few circles so that would be my only suggestion is adding a sign! (I did not pick up this order so I am going by word of mouth)
I’ve been a customer for raspberry chocolate cake, cupcakes, and cookies. My latest purchase was the Dubai chocolates, a delicious treat for me on Mother’s Day. Her treats are creative and delicious.
I ordered these muffins as a birthday gift. They arrived nearly two weeks later and were stale. I emailed the company twice to ask for shipping information and received no answer.
Delicious, Fresh, and Family-Owned Excellence!
We recently ordered two dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies from this amazing family-owned online bakery, and we couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment we took the first bite, it was clear that these cookies were made with love and care. They were perfectly baked—crispy on the edges and soft and chewy in the center. The balance of sweet, gooey chocolate chips and the rich, buttery dough was simply divine.
What makes this bakery stand out is not just the quality of their products, but the personal touch that comes with supporting a family-owned business. You can taste the passion and attention to detail in every bite. Plus, ordering online was super easy, and the cookies arrived fresh and beautifully packaged.
If you’re looking for the best chocolate chip cookies, look no further. We will definitely be ordering again!
All treats are sweet and delicious! I’m obsessed!

This place absolutely amazing!! I can’t get enough of it!❤️❤️❤️
We ordered 18 cupcakes in 4 different flavors for my friend’s bridal shower. They were a hit and everyone loved them! The cupcakes were so fluffy and very delicious. I needed to talk to someone before I ordered online and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!

The disrespect, unkindness, and lack of professionalism with their customer service, Mark, is what prompts this review.
When adding an item to your cart, there are some wordy options to either expedite the shipping, pickup locally, or no rush. I selected the expedited option so that it could ship as soon as possible, which meant "next day." The next option is to "Select The Date You Want It Delivered On". In my case, I placed the order early Monday morning, added the $5 to expedite, and indicated the date of Tuesday (next day) to have it delivered. Once you add the item to your cart, you're provided with another list of options for shipping. I selected Priority (1-3 business day delivery).
The order was shipped Tuesday evening at 11pm. USPS in St. Louis had the package in their possession from July 9th at 11pm through July 12th 7:48 am at which time it finally departed. The package sat in St. Louis for 2 full business days, the time it was supposed to take to deliver. This package was going from St. Louis to Mississippi, exactly 300 miles or a 4.5 hour drive, but somehow this package is now in the state of Georgia?
I have attempted to correspond privately with Creative Sweet Treats, and was responded with zero professionalism. I indicated this cake was for a dear coworker of mine for their birthday, and their response to me was "You waited until the last minute and now behave as though you are the only customer we have and the only person who matters to us. Your dear coworker clearly did not matter to you as much as you have stated." Yikes, hard blow.
In addition to that, this company looked me up on LinkedIn and said that I was "too young to understand" anything about shipping because they looked at the year in which I received my bachelor's degree. (I've been employed with one of the largest transportation companies in the world for the past 16 years, but okay).
Finally, Mark told me that "The way we heat seal/air tight ship your cake it lasts 7-10 days without ice packs and 2-3 days longer with ice packs, so your cake will be completely edible upon arrival." However, if you scroll down a couple of 1 star reviews, you will see Mark respond that "your cake did include the cold pack, but those could not possibly last 3 days in transit... not even dry ice would last that long". Let's also take into account the extreme heat between St. Louis and Mississippi, ranging from 85 to 100 degrees while this perishable item is moving across our country.
When I asked for a refund of $72 (cake + priority + cold pack), I was responded with all of the reasons why I, the consumer, am wrong, and why Creative Sweet Treats did everything right. In all honesty, up to the point of shipping, they did everything right. They shipped the item when they said it would ship. But then it sat for 2 days in St. Louis and is now moving outside of it's normal transit (Georgia is nowhere in the path of Missouri to Mississippi), and Creative Sweets is doing nothing to make this experience any better.
This was a $72 lesson to read reviews before purchasing from a business.

Ordered 4 dozen large cupcakes and requested the baker choose the assortment. Only because the choices were so overwhelming and I wanted to order all of them. Anyway, the delivery was great and working with Cassie at CST was so great. She understood how special this order was to me and she followed through with creating the best assortment possible. When the nurses received at St. Luke's Hosp., they were most surprised and truly enjoyed. Thank you Cassie and I will most definitely order from y'all again.

We ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for a recent reception and they were wonderful! I was really impressed by the flavors, which incorporated fresh fruit into the filling and icing. They were very reasonably priced as well. I opted for local delivery, and they were hand delivered within 10 min of our selected time in perfect condition.
I know this is a small business and it looks like the few bad reviews are due to shipping issues. I loved all the cupcakes and would order again from this bakery! Everyone LOVED them!
