Creative Sweet Treats provided excellent delivery service and great quality of the two cakes I ordered.I decided to visit my mom, who lives in St. Louis, for her birthday, and I wanted to order her a nice birthday cake to celebrate. Upon research, I discovered Creative Sweet Treats and decided to give them a try. They were terrific in answering my questions about the process, accommodating the minor details of the cakes ordered, and promptly delivering on time. Traveling from Detroit, I was worried about how the process would go, but they communicated with me the whole time and were there to answer any questions.P.S.- My mom says it's the best coconut cake she has ever had.

I have a few things to say for anyone reading through these reviews! First, my cake was phenonemal. I had the strawberry cake and everyone raved about it. The bad reviews are not due to the quality of the cakes. Absolutely incredible cake.Second, after reading the reviews, I placed my order online and then called the next day to confirm everything. I recommend anyone do this, as the online system is a bit confusing and clearly a significant amount of customers are having issues with it. Just call them! This is a family, made-to-order bakery so it is going to be different than a Walmart or Ubereats order. They were super nice and helpful on the phone and it was easy!Lastly, while I had a wonderful experience and did want to communicate that, I was turned off by the rude responses to other reviews - especially when there is a clear pattern in reviews. If so many people are having problems with the online system, it is probably worth considering a different system just so everything runs smoothly!

The amount of times I've had the pumpkin loaf from creative sweets is far to many to count. I'm never disappointed! 10/10 recommend! The pumpkin loaf with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting. plain, with chocolate chips no frosting. I haven't had a combo that doesn't hit! Usually finish a loaf in a day. I'm not ashamed to say so either.

For this pineapple upside down cake being shipped to the west coast, I’m pretty impressed.These low reviewers are just ignorant of what goes into something like this, or are possibly digitally challenged at online checkouts. There’s also notorious delays with the USPS as they’re heavily understaffed and highly under appreciated.My only regret is not adding the extra pineapple juice in the cake to make it more moist and I should’ve added the extra brown sugar option. Kinda bummed at myself I didn’t choose those or it would’ve been ridiculously good. Ugh... Add the extras you guys.This cake was baked and sent right as expected. Arrived a day earlier than the initial ETA. It was just as good as local grocery store cakes we’ve purchased.It’s pretty far for me, so I don’t predict I’ll order again unfortunately, but I thought it was great.

I happened to find Creative Sweet Treats on a whim when looking for someone to provide a large number of desserts for a celebration my department was having at Barnes Jewish Hospital. The service was absolutely incredible. Mark was very helpful and friendly along the entire way. The desserts were also delicious. It was a huge hit! I love the variety they supplied. Will definitely use them again in similar circumstances!

This business shipped my order to the billing address even though my order confirmation had the correct shipping address. I have no idea why or how this happened except to say the person who works there (Mark?) appears to be arrogantly ignorant and audaciously obstinate which is a dangerous combination of tomfoolery and simpleton. They ignored my email when I tried to contact them about their mistake, lied to the agencies I tried to get involved to get them to respond and correct with no evidence to support their lies, and then tried to gaslight me by saying they blocked me because of how I spoke to them (the incompetent Mark) when I only called and spoke to someone the day I got the USPS notice saying it was delivered to this wrong address. Yes, after my emails went unanswered and my phone calls not answered, when I actually was able to get through (I've got 3 cell phones you smug jerk) they had to acknowledge the mistake because it was there in their own writing. And instead of owning it and apologizing they tried to deflect about irrelevant delays to the timeline and jumped to if I wanted my money back. I'm not sure why this Mark was so hostile over his mistake but I said no I would like my order sent to the shipping address that I submitted and that's in the confirmation. This liar said that they would send another order but after three days without a new confirmation and updated tracking number I emailed again to no response. It was only after I began filing disputes and complaints did they make up these lies that I'd given them that address (where is the evidence Mark) and basically outright refuse to engage.Thank goodness PayPal finally credited me today but this business is a sham and a scam. The individual responding to emails and phone call is highly unprofessional and anyone interested in ordering should avoid at all cost. There are a lot of options online that are professional and respectable and in 2024 no one should accept these types of shenanigans. This place will mess up your order. Not respond to your emails or phone calls about it. Lie when official disputes and complaints are filed. Then try to gaslight you all while keeping your money and no product delivered to the right place.Proceed at your own risk.(They also appear to have more than 1 Google page which is how I originally missed these reviews before placing an order but seeing the comebacks to other customers should tell everyone what they need to know about this kind of place. I will say this in advance because I see the pattern now. They can go and search me then write whatever they want about me. I will not be intimidated. I cannot be intimidated. Customers, write to BBB, the attorney general of Missouri, whatever it takes to get a record that this is really a bad business. If only they would spend as much energy into being a solid, reputable business as they do "clapping back" at customers, they could probably be marginally decent. Anyone who orders after reading these borderline testimonials will deserve what they get).RESPONSE TO OWNER:Your response is truly what I wanted and needed so that your unprofessional trollship could be on full display for all the readers. I ordered chocolate covered sour cherry balls paid 30 dollars for the most pathetic 5oz of candy I have ever bought!!!!! They used the cheapest chocolate and the smallest cherry sours possible do not buy from this store I will never be a customer again!

Terrible customer service, unable to take constructive feedback. Their response to their customer service problem was the I was overbearing. Sadly, they appear to hide behind that they're a small mom & pop. I understand, which is why I waited on their chat for over an hour (During their business hours). I would suggest you don't have a chat option if it's not monitored. The gift bag that the cookies were in was crumpled and broken. Even if the cookies were good, it is simply not worth doing business with them.

Placed my order online with payment for a BIG event. Online ordering was confirmed, and I never received a call only automatic messaging. My order was canceled the day of the event, I'm am so disappointed! I messaged and called many times before and didn't speak to anyone until the day of the event. When they called to cancel my order!!***UPDATE***It was never my demeanor! It is unfortunate that Creative Sweet Treats owner has decided to respond to the review with lies and misconceptions about the events that happened that day. I am from KCMO and was in town for a Convention, after the election we wanted to purchase a congratulations cake from a local bakery, for obvious reasons we did not order the cake beforehand and found this bakery online that mention they could do orders within a 24-48 hr. period. The expedite fee appear to only be for those who choose to ship their order, I chose to pick-up my order at the bakery, as confirmed by the text by 4pm, had I knew that the expedite was for a cake with a quick turnaround or someone would have called me to advise me to pay it I would have. I simply wanted to speak with someone to confirm my order, the person called me at 1130am after I sent a message asking someone to, they said they were sorry but due to an emergency they were not in town and would not be able to fulfill my order as they would not be back in town until that evening. It was never my demeanor, I was upset and disappointed but never once was irate, abusive, or yelled at the person. I asked if they knew of another bakery in the area she said no, I asked when the total of $138.00 would be refunded she stated later that evening when she goes to her computer.They went on to say in their responds that due to my other google reviews at a local dispensary they can ASSUME that I do drugs and therefore they do not need or want my business!?!?!?! The fact that this business chose to stoop so low is despicable and uncalled for. I am all for supporting local business and pray that the owners step up their customer service and hold themselves accountable for THEIR wrong doings not MINE.BE WARNED IF YOU LEAVE A BAD REVIEW, THEY WILL LOOK INTO YOUR PAST GOOGLE REVIEWS AND BLAST YOUR PERSONAL BUSINESS!!!

I got the NY cheesecake for Mothers Day and it was amazing! Best we ever tasted. I made an error on the delivery/shipping and they were able to work with me to assure that the delivery was made on time.

Updated: my husband ordered this cookie cake for my birthday because you know...he's considerate and doesn't make me make my own birthday treat. And yes it was very lackluster. I'm fairly positive my 6 year old could have decorated it just like this. In my updated review you will find a cookie cake from a business who's owner tragically passed last year - it's 20$ cheeper than yours and much much better no chemical taste in their buttercream no matter the color.Im very sorry you seem to not enjoy being reviewed by the general public but as a bakery your chosen profession is serving the general public. By being less abrasive and doing more than the bare minimum maybe you'll have better responses? Or at least take critique with more grace than you have been.

Best coconut layer cake this 62 year old coconut cake lover has ever tasted! Without exaggeration, it was the most moist, flavorful, rich, delightful, coconut cake I’ve ever experienced! My entire family from age 3 to 76 was fighting over it. Will definitely order again!

Horrible service. Simply won't acknowledge that they cannot deliver anything on time and just don't seem to care. Gave them (regrettably) three chances and they couldn't come close to delivering a birthday cake on time. They should be ashamed of themselves.
