The atmosphere was down to earth and welcoming. The bartender was nice and seemed to enjoy his job. Food was good this time around. Not great like I've had before. But still I'll give the food a 8/10. This was the first place I tried grits and they were awesome about 6 months ago, but this time around they were not made to the same standard. But I will keep going to support a great owner and restaurant.

My son and I decided to try something new and ended up here a few weeks back. When I say there needs to be a 10 star rating so I can click it, I mean just that! From the service down to the food. The character of this place is so beautiful and soulful. It lives up to it's name and I'm here to digest every ounce of it. Literally and figuratively?
Best tasting food we had during our stay in St Louis! The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. We ordered the chicken and shrimp nachos, shrimp and grits, smothered pork chop and shrimp po boy. The seasoning and spices were on point with our expectations! I highly recommend if you are looking for food with flavor.
Looked this place up since we are from out of town. Picked up food to go. The restaurant had a great vibe. Super relaxing, great music, friendly staff. Ordered the shrimp étouffée and it was amazing. If we lived in the area this would be a weekly spot for us.

I travel alot I am from INDIANAPOLISand OMG this place was amazing. I had their Shirmp and fries and my husband had the cat fish creole and the PEACH COBBLER WAS to die for....if I could rate this place a 10 I would. HIGHLY

We came here for my Granny's birthday, and had an absolutely wonderful experience ? The service was exceptional, and everyone enjoyed their food. We had crab cakes, Cajun catfish on mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and po'boy. I would recommend everything we tried, but especially the grits and catfish.
Last night was our first time visiting Creole with a Splash of Soul. Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was top tier. They were very accommodating and thoughtful as it was my mother’s 78th birthday. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our evening memorable!
I've traveled and eaten in 25 different countries. This was by far the #1 dinner I've ever had. Usually the first bite is always great but it tapers off the more you eat. This was Seriously good until the last bite.I had the Shrimp and Grits and another friend had catfish with grits. They threw in a peach cobbler to try and it was the best ever. I'm not one to leave a review normally but this was too amazing.Chef Willie made the food and Chef Mike made the peach cobbler.10/10 highly recommend.
