I had the kale salad and chicken parm. My husband had veal piccata. Everything was delicious. My chicken parm was probably the best I've ever had. The ambience and level of service is perfect for a romantic date. My husband wore a t-shirt and I had black jeans on. We both felt underdressed. We wish we would have dressed up a little to match Dominic's ambience.
We had a large group (10) for a birthday celebration that evening and we were thrilled with our service. Joe and Rachel were absolutely amazing and of course the food was superb as always. We especially loved the appetizers and desserts! Can't wait for next time!
Amazing experience, food was excellent, service was excellent 10/10 recommend for the best fine dining Italian experience.
Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! We are new to STL area and chose Dominic's to celebrate an anniversary. Wonderful food, great ambience, and excellent service. We will no doubt return!
If you want to dine, if you appreciate excellent service, and if you want wonderful food, then treat yourself to Dominic's. It is cut from a time nearly lost. Great background music. No noise. You can enjoy conversation with your table mates. Enjoy!
We had a lovely dining experience at Dominic's on the Hill. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The wine and food were of the highest quality. Our experience turned a quiet Tuesday night into a celebration.
A great experience with delicious food and excellent service. I especially appreciated Dominic's conversation at our table.
We needed gluten-free food and were surprised to find that there were very limited options (just fish and risotto among the main entrees). Gluten-free pasta was available, but we were told that none of the sauces were gluten-free (other than butter/oil). No offer was made to talk to the chef about making any accommodations. Since we had limited options, we did not order appetizers. We waited a while for a server to take our order, and we only received our food one hour after we were seated. The food itself was delicious.
The seafood risotto was excellent and exceeded my expectations, and the ambiance was elegant. Pricey, but worth it. I would dine here again.
We were unfortunately disappointed with the quality of the food. The service was pretty good. I ordered the veal saltimbocca which was very disappointing and reminded me of turkey cutlets in gravy from a banquet meal in taste and presentation. I got a Caesar salad, which was decent, my partner had the house salad, which was supposed to feature artichokes. He found only one on the salad. There was no offer for grated Parmesan on any of the salads. The bread looks like it came from a grocery store. Definitely did not taste fresh baked or appear to be baked in house. The third person in our party ordered the salmon which was supposed to have a cream sauce. It had dill on it but no cream sauce, but otherwise she said the salmon was decent. A side of risotto was $14 additional. The veggie side that came with my veal was very very small. The food was way underwhelming and for a $200 dinner. We were extremely disappointed. The cost of our meal included only one alcoholic beverage.

Food was prepared well and overall made for a nice dinner date. Could have more options for side dishes.
Went here last night for my boyfriend's birthday. This was our first visit to Dominics and it did not disappoint. It was very quiet as would expect for a weeknight but the ambiance and staff we great. This place offered great hospitality and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for great Italian food and even better service. We will definitely be going back!
Last night's dinner was simply incredible! Joe and Josh provided perfect service and advice and the food was the best we had all week on The Hill.
One of the places where the owner himself makes sure everybody is having a great experience. Class act.
This was our first visit to Dominic's and it was outstanding. The service by the staff was exceptional. The food was the best we have had on the Hill. We will definitely be going back.
