We had reservations for 7 at 6:15 on a Fridayand arrived on time. The food was excellent - dishes were prepared well. However we were not served until8pm because there were two large parties there that evening and both the kitchen and waitstaff were slammed. We were not served until well after one large party began on their desserts. The waitstaff were doing the bestxthey could - literally rushing table to table. - and we could see the kitchen was cranking out orders as we waited. Fortunately we were in no rush and had a pleasant if lenghtly visit. When the food did arrive, it was both hot and delicious. The waitress did provide 2 complementary desserts for the 7 of us to share. Even though the wait was lengthy, the food was good enough to keep the restaurant on our return-to list.

Delicious! And the prices are so reasonable, and the service and setting are so wonderful, I definitely will visit Dominic's again!!

The dining experience at this restaurant is amazing staff is great Waiters are professional food was very awesome this is my third time coming to this place whenever I want to take my wife out to a nice restaurant or wine and dine her this is my number one place two thumbs up

This was the first time at Dominics Trattoria and it was fantastic, wait staff were excelent as well as the food. We will definately be back.

I ordere the rack ok lamb special and was shocked by the portion size... eight chops... and the 72$ cost. Two double chops would have been sufficient and forty or forty five dollars more in keeping/ The accomanying vegetables and were mashed potatoes over cooked, under seasoned and unfittingly trite. To worsen the evening, our guest was not seved she veal that ordered....

Consistently great food. I had the linguini with clams and it was delicious! Other people at the table had the veal piccata and bolognese. Both were delicious!

As always, the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I ordered the rainbow trout and my husband ordered the chicken Parmesan; both were generous portions. We have eaten there many times and are never disappointed.

One of the best meals we have ever had. The atmosphere was amazing, the restrooms very clean and the food was fabulous I don't have enough words for how good the food was.

I specifically made a reservation in the bar area one week in advance. The hostess did not seem to have a record or care about my efforts. The hostess need more confidence in her role as initial point of customer contact. For goodness sake, get rid of that pitiful Covid plexiglass table next to the door and place the hostess in a prominent location that appears to be in command.

My high school best friends and I came here for our friend's birthday dinner on 09/23. We were so excited to dine here because we had heard great things about the food. We had a server who was not very friendly or timely, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured she was just busy or having a bad night. We also noticed how long it took her to get our checks back to us after taking our cards, but understood that she had to divide everything up on separate tabs. Fast forward to last week, when we all got together again for dinner. One of our friends was talking about how she had her credit card information stolen since we had last hung out. We quickly realized that all of us had our credit card information stolen from us, with similar charges on all 5 of our cards. Since we didn't know at the time, we all separately called our respective credit card companies, had the charges reversed and ordered new cards. When we all realized it happened to us, we decided to call the restaurant to let them know there was a thief in their midst. We didn't want anything from them, except to let them know what had happened so they could remedy the situation internally. We were met with hostility, no apologies, and an unwillingness to further investigate the situation within their staff. We felt like they were accusing us of lying or trying to defame their reputation, which we would never waste our time doing. The owner even got on the phone and gave a very sarcastic response of "if you want to call the FBI, go ahead." A completely ridiculous & very disappointing response from any restaurant, let alone from a "St. Louis staple." My recommendation? Don't dine here unless you want your meal served with a side of theft.
