Stopped in to grab a couple dozen assorted for my team on my way to work. Smells amazing as soon as you open the door! Staff is super friendly! I tried the chocolate long John. Was like biting into a chocolatey cloud of goodness! So soft and fluffy. Absolutely delish!

WOW!! You need to come here! It was outstanding! Staff was very friendly and was able to give great recommendations for people that were not from the St. Louis area and wanted to try what it was known for. Definitely try the long John’s they are phenomenal. I’m not a pie person normally and thought the apple hand pie (available on Wednesdays) was very good! Again can not say how friendly and helpful the staff was! If I wasn’t just passing through on a road trip I would be rushing to come back!

Pros -more than worthy route 66 stop -incredibly friendly and quick staff -delicious donuts, hand pies(all are great, I found the apple to be the best), and fritters (that's all I had room to try)
Cons -parking might be a bit hectic, but very manageable.

Probably (definitely) my new favorite donuts place in St. Louis! Came here at night time, (8pm I believe,) and the place was busy. Got a bunch of donuts to try, and every one of them of them was "better than the last." The best, in my opinion, was the Caramel-covered longjohn, or caramel donut, which our server recommended. Great old fashioned, lemon curd, and "buttercream" donuts as well. Overall, great. Lovely sign as restored by the NPS. Check it out!
