People have asked me to recommend a good pizza place. I will recommend THE BEST pizza place I know... Double D's Pizzeria.Double D's is a small, family owned and operated, establishment located along Tesson Ferry Rd. between Butler Hill Rd. and Wells Rd.I highly recommend their St. Louis style pizza, calzones, chicken wraps, and cheese fries - among many other things on their menu. Their pizzas are thin crust with a blend of cheeses. If you like bacon on your pie, you'll LOVE this... Bacon crumbles AND strips. I honestly can't put it in words how good it is.Double D's is a family friendly restaurant with eat-in and carry out options (no delivery). The ambiance inside is laden with sports jerseys and memorabilia from local high school sports teams. Multiple TV's in the restaurant showcase sports channels and other entertainment. There is also a small game room with a couple of arcade type games to keep the littles entertained. You honestly can't go wrong here. If you're looking for a local, non-commercial family friendly pizza place, then look no further than Double D's!!

Some of the best St. Louis style pizza you will ever have the luxury of enjoying. But the true stars of the show are the WINGS!!!! I don't know what exactly is in the Double D's sauce, but it's not just plain Buffalo. They did some magic to those wings ?

The pizza is delicious and the owner and wait staff are always helpful and kind. They even hold the door open for customers carrying their takeout!

We visited during lunch last week. Observations were the facility was very clean, team members friendly and welcoming. When we placed our order, we slid our card to pay, the first thing that popped up was tip amount. My question to the person at the register was "will we have wait staff?" I was assured we would. So I went ahead and tipped. My mistake. We were there for over an hour and no one visited our table except to deliver the pizza. The pizza was outstanding! I find it rude to ask for a tip prior to receiving service. So I do not recommend tipping at point of sale.

We had been at the antique mall recently next store and my wife commented how good the smell was coming from Double Ds. We went there and we were the only people eating. The place was super clean and the salad was good but the ranch could be better. We decided to give there hand tossed pizza a try. It tasted very undercooked and there was some big bubbles that popped kinda messing up one side of the pizza. Maybe the thin crust is the better option. As for atmosphere I loved all the team jerseys and looks perfect for that after game party. Just wish my pizza was better.

First timer at Double D's. Been driving by the place for months. Heard a few good things, so the wife and I went with my brother and sister-in-law on a Saturday evening to enjoy some pizza and salads. You enter the restaurant and order at a counter. They give you a number to take to a table. Not my preference, but it was very fast and efficient. The counter person/order taker was very friendly. We ordered a "Bob's" pizza (bacon, hamburger, sausage and onion) and a couple of house salads - my brother and his wife ordered the same. The food came out promptly. The small salads were big enough, fresh and tasty. The pies were also served promptly. The pizzas that we ordered were St. Louis thin style and they did not skimp on the ingredients. And, the pizza was very good tasting (not top 10, but certainly met the need). The problem, both pies were barely cut. It is common for the cheese to melt back together, but the crusts for each pizza was scored some, but not cut through. So, you had to pull the pieces apart and the toppings would slide right off. Difficult to eat. That was the only negative really. Points for being super nice folks. Sharpen that pizza cutter I guess.
