I have been a regular customer at Dragon's Place for 5 years now. They have been a staple in my household and my main recommendation for the best Chinese food in St. Louis. This is no longer the case. What made Dragon's Place so unique, their quality of food, and their service has completely gone away under new ownership. The people operating the phones were very rude and hung up on me after filing a complaint about an order. I will not be returning.

I asked for 2 shrimp "egg rolls", they charged me $4 and gave me 1 "egg roll". The "egg roll" was a 7 inch shrimp tempura wrap in an egg roll wrapper. I told them they forgot an "egg roll" and they told me they only charged for 1. ? $4 for an "egg roll". That was my first and LAST time EVER wasting my money here. China King around the corner has actual shrimp egg rolls and they taste amazing.

I have been here twice in the last week. When I first (March 2022) moved in this neighborhood, I tried this chop suey out that was totally disappointed. They stepped their rice ( dar) game "up" and, I have totally satisfied with the shrimp fried rice!!!!

The food is amazing. Every time I go there, it's fresh and delicious. The people there are nice and welcoming. If I had any feedback for them, I am hoping for pictures or better descriptions of their menu items on the delivery apps, so I have a better idea of what I'm getting.

Great service. Delicious food. I recommend it anyone who loves Chinese food. I always get my extra sauce and they are so friendly.

I ordered Buddhist Delight with fried tofu and asked that it be made vegetarian, with no animal broth. Shoutout to Grubhub for prompt delivery! Unfortunately, the food was waaay too salty. Gonna have to give it a rinse to make it edible.

I had horrible service! I had my food delivered and I gave the driver more than needed for the order and he right away assumed it was all for him and refused to give me my change back. Then he left with my change and I called up to the store and they were no sorts of helpful! They had a driver that for one doesn’t speak good English so there’s complications there and then on top of it took up for him as if he didn’t just steal from me. But that’s ok I will be filling a report!

I had an very good experience ordering take out from Dragon's Place, and I definitely recommend that you give it a try! We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, fried rice, and the gyoza. As you see in the pictures, the portions are very generous and you will definitely have left overs. The prices very affordable especially considering how much food you get. This is not gourmet Chinese food, so it competes with other strip mall joints and Panda Express, but beats most (if not all of them) in St. Louis. We spent about $35 for a lot of food. I will dock them one star because they had not prepared 2-3 of the items on their menu that I initially wanted, but the entrees that I did order was delicious. The gyoza were not my favorite. They were kind of bland, but the kid loved them. They're not bad, but nothing too flavorful or exciting. If you are looking for Chinese take out, I definitely recommend this place. I also want to address a comment made by another reviewer, who was displeased that their Chinese food was made by Mexican workers. YES, this place is owned and operated by a Mexican family. This is part of contemporary cultural landscape and cultural economy. Here as an article from St. Louis Magazine about the restaurant that I enjoyed reading:
