Love this spot. Husband and I were in St Louis for 2 weeks for work and we kept coming back here. Everything is good - fish and chips, burger, stockpots (amazing), Ruben. Service is great and has a fantastic vibe.

If the St. Louis Ladies' Craft Beer Tasting Society could click on 10 gold stars for every catagory, we happily would do so! We tasted every beer and, for the first time in our history, we loved them all. The IPA purist enjoyed the porter. The brown ale enthusiast praised the IPA...right on down the line. It was a first! Ben Dressel is a wonderful host, brewer, and story teller. He graciously shared his process with us as well as beautifully presented samples of the finished products. As fantastic as the beer was the food. For details about the chips, pretzel, and cauliflower you can read the magazine articles and other reviews. We loved them all! The environment is beautiful...and cheerfully quiet. The staff is outstanding! The ladies of StLLCBTS voted; Dressel's wins, hands down

Saturday night dinner with a good crowd. Our Waitress knew the menu and helped with recommendations letting us know of everything that was made in house including the desserts. They had 2 soups tonight, we chose the fish stew that was really good. Fish n chips were excellent.
Classic Welsh pub feel that is kept clean. They brew their own beer and the Red Ale was delicious.

They have one of the best burgers in St. Louis. The person I was with described it as a “better version of a Big Mac” and I thought that was pretty accurate. Every component of the burger seemed thoughtfully chosen and the proportions were perfect, to me. I haven’t had the pretzel in a long time but I remember that being quite good as well. Service is a tiny bit slow, but that might be this current iteration of wait staff. I’ve only eaten outside, but the patio is nice!
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free bun. No dedicated fryer for fries but I’m not that sensitive to cross-contamination, so I went for the fries and they were great. The waitress was knowledgeable.

I like the food and the vibe of the place. I went there for a solo birthday lunch and got a delicious lamb burger. I enjoy the art on the wall and I also think it is inspiring that they brew their own beer.
