Didn’t expect to pay $8 for a tiny ice cream sandwich. The rest of the food and drinks also had quite small portions that wouldn’t be enough to satisfy anyone. It tasted good but I’d barely consider this a snack.

This spot is inside Platypus. This is the best tofu in the world. Separate fryer for my vegan friends. It’s magic in a cube and you gotta splurge and get all the dipping sauces. Is that excessive, absolutely! But who cares, you’re in The Grove. Don’t be boring.

Some of the best chicken I've ever had. Definitely the best popcorn chicken I've ever had. Sprouts are very good, but a touch moist. Fries could use a touch more crisping or a more narrow cut, but flavor/spice mix was good.
Buffalo and Ranch were both good. BBQ is probably good for those that like sweet BBQ (most STLisians). Would love a spicier buffalo, but again, my tastes likely vary from the target audience.
I'll definitely be back.

The first thing you see is that beautiful mural on the side of the building! 🌈 The vibe inside is cool with a large bar and indoor and outdoor dining. The food menu is small but packs a punch. The delicious chicken bites come small or large and we opted for fries (one size only). I suggest sharing the fries since there are so many. I prefer skinny fries myself, but loved the homemade ranch to dip them in. They offer Jarritos sodas and Sugarwitch ice cream sandwiches, which I will try next time. I love the Grove for many reasons, but add Eat Duckbill to the list!
