A wonderful place with amazing food. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and food was served beautifully. I got the sweet chili chicken wings with a side of rice, and when i tell you they were the best wings i've ever had, that is not an exaggeration. they were nice and crispy even with the sauce. everything was just incredible.
The woman who served us was very sweet and accommodating. The decor was very inviting, with plants everywhere. I was really surprised considering we went there on a whim. i honestly was just hungry and we went into the first place available.
I really loved everything about it and would love to come back!

Maybe my favorite restaurant in STL?!?! The food has been legitimately outstanding every time I’ve eaten here. And the server (who I think may also be the owner?) is so sincere and kind - she has given my daughter - and my nieces - gifts when they’ve come in, just because she’s so nice! Lots of great
vegetarian options too. You should EAT HERE TODAY!

This place really is something special. The woman working the dining room was very sweet and hospitable. The environment was so beautiful, with live plants and vines along the bar and walls. The menu was very straightforward, setting expectations properly. The beet salad was incredible, and I can say that if you don't like beets it may change your mind. The Sambusas with lentils were crispy and so refreshing. I got the meat lover plate, and all of the meats were tender and spiced so addictively. The spice was wonderful! The side were also ridiculous, with the split peas being a textural delight. The bread was unlike anything I'd ever had, with a wonderful sourness that completed all the flavors on the plate. I tried all of my friends veggies on their platter, and those were incredible as well. This is a great introduction to Ethiopian food, and it certainly deserves a try!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a picture of the food before I demolished it. Everything was 10/10 amazing! I went with the lamb roast with lentils and cabbage and boy it didn’t disappoint! Service was fantastic also. 10/10 will come back again, definitely regular spot material.

I was in St. Louis on a business trip and found this place a 13 min drive from downtown. Parking in the back. We walked in on a wednesday night around 7 and minimal foot traffic. The hostess was very kind. We ordered the veggie and meat platter, beef sambusas and the food was absolutely amazing. Every single morsel was mouth wateringly good. So much so that we ordered it again to go so we could eat it again the next day for brekky and lunch. The hostess was warm, welcoming and kind with great service. The ambience inside is very peaceful. I'd order anything off the menu and would bet a paycheck it's absolutely one of the best things I'd ever tasted.

I REALLY enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It was very open, clean, bright in color and has a great vibe. The service was stellar. I had the lamb soup for an appetizer, and the meat platter. My wife had the fish and veggies. EVERYTHING was amazing. The lamb soup was served with freshly made bread chips and was packed with flavor. The meat platter consists of lamb, beef and chicken cooked in African spices and herbs. We tried the Samosas which were delectable. We also had the spinach and rice which was a 10 out of 10. We tried the sour bread?? Not sure remember the name of it but wasn't a fan of that at all. I WILL BE BACK THIS WEEKEND!!
