For the second year in a row, we reserved an outdoor chalet for dinner. We love the private dining experience and the twinkle lights and exceptional food and drink are always wonderful. We loved the arancini and Quattro formaggio pizza this time - and the Manhattans went down so smoothly. This is a splurge - but always a fantastic experience ! We will be back

The food and drinks at Edera Italian eatery was top notch. We were there to celebrate a girl friend's birthday. They had quite a good selection of vegetarian options on their menu. We ended up getting the cauliflower, squash and burrarta and wrapped up with a couple of wood fired pizzas.. and it for sure hit the mark.
Next time we want to check out their outdoor gazebo seating !

I really, really enjoyed our server, he was fantastic; very knowledgeable and friendly, without being overbearing. Unfortunately I wasn’t a big fan of the food. I got the bolognese and really didn’t enjoy the ragu. I can’t explain it, but it just had an off taste that I didn’t love, and the dish I received looks very different from other pictures of it online (the sauce was a lot thinner than the bolognese I see in other pictures). The person I was eating with got a pasta with scallops, and I personally thought it tasted bad. The scallops tasted overcooked and the pasta had a burnt flavor. It’s just a bit weird because the service and atmosphere are wonderful, but the food unfortunately did not match.

Cool vibe, good drinks, but I was not a fan of the food at all. Small portions for the price and SO salty.

We've been to Edera several times and always loved the pasta and pizza. We just did the winter chalet, which I highly recommend. Very intimate and comfortable setting. The wait staff was great. We had the Arancini appetizer and it was excellent. I was let down by the cacio e pepe though. The noodles were very undercooked. The fig pizza was good. I would definitely recommend the amaretto tort. Cocktails and wine were excellent.

Edited to reflect a new experience:
The first dinner was incredibly disappointing, & I rated the entire experience with something I’ve never done before- 1 star. After my review, I was contacted by the manager who wanted to remedy the situation by doing 2 things. The second was a re-do of dinner, & it was wonderful according to those that went in my place.

One of the ppl in the initial party went back with a guest for dinner. They said they had an excellent time, & quote:
“ All the food was 10/10, we loved it”
“ It was spectacular service from JD. The wine, appetizers and main course was exquisite. Topped off by their Amrita pie. JD and manager all came by every 10-15 min. cleaning table off and boxing what we could not finish. Great experience and wonderful setting.”

While I’m sad the first experience wasn’t what we hoped for our 5 ppl, 3 celebrating birthdays, dinner, I understand that there’s always reasons for things behind the scenes, & sometimes things happen. I’m a big fan of redemption, & since the re-do dinner was a slam success in the opinion of ppl that matter greatly to me, it’s high praise & thanks to Jeff, JD, & Edera for a great dinner.

Food and Service were awful.
Nice looking place with a decent vibe, but don’t be fooled, the food was lousy and the service worse.
Plenty of better Italian restaurants in St Louis……do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Food is always amazing & I forget about this moving out West. The patio is a whole amazing vibe for a date or dinner with friends. Love the staff & decor. Tonight was a perfect 72 degree breeze on the patio. Joe is my favorite server! The chicken absolutely loved & all the pastas are amazing.. salad was so fire. Loved hearing the Voltron history! Winter is a whole different & cool experience on the patio…
