Egg Midtown – Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I came in on Sept 6 around 1:35 PM, which was pretty close to their 2 PM closing time — but it never felt rushed. I don’t recommend going that close to closing, but it really showed the quality of their service, especially Jason at the bar. He was professional, welcoming, and helped me choose a drink that hit perfectly.
What I Ordered:
• Half French Toast Cornbread
• Eggs, Bacon, Toast & Potatoes
• Mimosa (10/10, forget the flavor but it was perfect)
Taste: Everything tasted exactly how it should — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The mimosa was the highlight.
Bill: My total was $51.81 including tip for the great service.
Overall: Cozy atmosphere, great food, and service that doesn’t slack even right before closing. Jason made me feel right at home in a professional way. I left happy and I’ll definitely be back.

Both locations are great but this one is my fav. Best breakfast in St. Louis! The best French toast I’ve ever had!!!! Fresh squeezed orange juice, great food& drinks.

Shocked! We stopped here bc we were in the area and I asked Alexa for a restaurant that was closeby and still serving breakfast. Well, let me just say, I think I've found my favorite place! The food made up for it. I ordered The Standard with sausage and a side of semolina pancakes. My guest ordered the same with bacon French Toast and 2 grapefruit mimosas. It was so much food and it all tasted yummy. The breakfast potatoes were crunchy like they should be. The sausage was savory and sweet due to the fennel, I think. I didnt care for it but it wasn't bad. Next visit im ordering the bacon, which i ate from my guest's plate. 😆I dont know how they made the fench toast but it was sugary crispy on the edges but moist on the inside. I know my eyes rolled back when i tasted it. The service was amazing and the food temp was perfect. There was so much food we needed to go boxes. I gave less stars for atmosphere bc they really need to get the dusty spiderwebs from the ceiling. And bruh whats with the astronaunt paintings❓️Oh and soften the butter you send to the table...was ot from the freezer? 😆But that won't stop me from returning. See you soon.❤️

No idea what the food is like, because the customer service is terrible. I emailed four times and called twice over the course of three weeks to try to arrange a reservation for our group and never received a response. Not a great way to run a small business.

So good. Cornbread Benedict was fantastic and I ate way too much. Breakfast hashes have sooo much meat and other goodness in them.

Hands down best brunch I’ve ever had. Pork belly eggs Benedict and the barbacoa & chorizo tacos were absolutely amazing! Will come back here. Music was on point as well and so was my iced vanilla latte! Highly recommend Egg Midtown🥚🥚🥚🥚

The food was alright, the fried potatoes were a little hard and the tacos were pretty greasy. The service and atmosphere were great though!

Good service and great food. Came here for brunch with a group of 9 on a Saturday, and they were able to accommodate us.
Food was delicious, and their portion sizes were great. Recommend getting the eggs Benedict with pork belly!
