Disappointing experience! I was told my food would take about 25 minutes because they were busy, but it ended up taking over an hour. What's frustrating is that a family seated after me received their drinks, food, and even left before I got my food. To add to that, the table next to me, which was seated 45 minutes after me, seemed to be served at the same time I was. The wait for something as simple as nachos was unacceptably long. The lack of apology or acknowledgment from the staff made it clear that I won't be returning. It felt like poor service, and unfortunately, it gave me the impression that it might be more than just a busy night. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but either way, it was a bad experience.

El Indio is a Mexican restaurant with 4 locations. This one in Manchester is easy to get to and parking is fine here, even when it gets busy all the time. It's got a good sized menu with prices not being too bad for good portion sizes. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and love to give recommendations. The food is good, especially the tacos. Enchiladas and burritos are good, with a good portion of it being meat. Their chips and salsa come to the table, but their guacamole is delicious and creamy. Overall this is a great spot and I'd highly recommend getting the tacos.

Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. The food was delicious (we had fajitas and tacos de carne asada) and our server- Rosa- was very attentive and personable. If you are looking for reasonable prices, great food, and outstanding service- this is the place for you!
My friends and I decided on this place for a random taco Tuesday celebration. Reina, our waitress was very attentive too. We were so relaxed in the atmosphere, we decided we’ll be back to try food on their regular menu. This review will be updated!

Everything is so good! I miss the Hampton location but I’m so glad they’re still in Missouri with the Manchester location. I drive from Tower Grove East to come here and it’s so worth it! Very accommodating to requests to make menu items vegetarian by swapping beans for protein.
