Ate here today; some of the best Mexican food I have had in St. Louis. Just be careful of the bump entering the parking lot!

We came to El Milagro for National Margarita Day and liked it so much that we returned with friends three days later. On our first visit, we got the steak tacos and the birria tacos. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes as well as the margaritas. I was a big fan of the Strawberry Basil Margarita. We had good service, even with a group of 6 of us. The restaurant has a cute vibe, and I'm excited for the patio to open up because it looks like a great place for a patio happy hour. This will definitely be one of our go-to Mexican spots going forward!

Margaritas off the chain. Delicious food for all types of diets (vegetarians, vegans, etc). Adorable glassware that my husband and I went out and purchased for our home. Brought the gals back for a girls date and they loved it too. Been back several times.

Food was quite good. Surprised that chips and salsa were not served with the cocktails we ordered. We loved the pork enchiladas. Big servings.

This spot is so good we went twice in a week, something I don't think we've ever done. Went before a show on a Saturday, it was bustling put not packed. I had the lobster/crab nachos, my wife had the pork enchiladas. We did not speak during the meal-too focused on how delicious it was. Chips and salsa were excellent, very thin freshly fried chips and two salsas. The second night I tried the pollo crema verde and it was everything I hoped it'd be. Wife had the same pork enchiladas. Service was great!

Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. One of my friends and I we were there for the first time. We sat, got our water and waiting for 30 minutes, but no one took our order until I I asked for our server. No one knew anything. We ordered our appetizer and dishes. Got our chips and cheese dip, those were the most stale chips ever, and the cheese was okay. Food came out like 15 minutes after that, but we were still missing part of our order, no one checked on us so then we mentioned the missing item so that they could cancel it. At the end they said the appetizer wouldn’t be on them since they took so long and completely forgot about us, despite the fact that we were sitting right in the center of the room. Don’t recommend!

I really loved this place. The food is good for Mexican in the Midwest (native Texan here). But I had to cut dairy from my diet. It shouldn’t be that hard to leave dairy out of the meal. The burrito doesn’t claim to have dairy in it from its description on their menu. We ordered on the phone, told them it needed to be dairy free. After eating I few bites, I found cheese in the burrito. We called and complained and they remade it and we picked it up. All to find cheese in the burrito again!!! They also put cheese in the beans both times, but at least I could see that and avoid it. But the burrito was not as obvious, so I ate some without realizing. It’s very frustrating that they can’t seem to leave cheese off the meal. It shouldn’t be that hard. Now I can’t trust this restaurant and will no longer be dining here.Dietary restrictions: Do not go here if you’re allergic to dairy products.

Best Mexican meal in a long time at El Milagro Azteca. May seem to be the usual Tex-Mex at first glance but no: the freshness, the complex spices, and creative twists make this place stand out. Now my favorite!
