Eovaldi’s Deli captures true old-world charm the moment you step inside—the smells alone let you know you’re in for something special. We tried both a New York-style sub and a create-your-own, paired with Fitz’s sodas and Zapp’s chips, and everything was absolutely amazing. The bread was fresh, the meats and toppings were top-notch, and the balance of flavors made every bite memorable.
The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, and the staff made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic deli flavor with an unbeatable vibe, Eovaldi’s is a must-visit.

Open till 4:30 on Friday? Nope! I went in there at 4:15 and they wouldn't make me a sandwich. I've heard great things about this place, but I guess I won't get to try it on this trip to STL.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because they were out of the original salsiccia. However the sandwich we ordered, (Eovaldi special?) was very good. We also brought some frozen cannelloni and a pizza to take home. Once home we prepared some of the cannelloni and it was DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend! The Hill is the Best!
I enjoyed my 1st visit. Staff was friendly, Sandwich ready fast. Prices shown on their online menu are not accurate, long overdue to be updated probably. 9 inch sandwich shows $6.75 but was closer to $10.75

When you walk into a little family Deli and they have a sandwich that shares the family name do not ask questions. Just order it, bc it is a sandwich they are proud of. The Eovaldi sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. I am leaving this review a year later, bc I just got done telling a patient about the sandwich because I still think about it. It would be worth the drive from Pennsylvania all by itself.
