The food, the service (Allen W.), the music.....all AMAZING!!! Since we got into St. Loius for our visit we have been waiting for our "ah-ha" meal and experience and we got it here. Everything was so prefect!!! Thank you, Evangeline's. We will be back.

Aside from not getting our group of 6 people a table and having to sit at the bar wall, the food was amazing! Biscuits and gravy, bananas fosters French toast, jambalaya, spot on! Live jazz music perfect ambiance.

I went here on a Sunday to receive the worst service ever. First you wait outside for the hostess to get clean menus. When I finally get seated in a place that was empty, I received coffee. I ask for cream and finally after about 20 minutes the guy comes back and said he forgot. I ordered bacon and potatoes. The potatoes had been cooked iin old grease and they were cold. After letting the waiter know , he immediately became defensive. He said “ I’m not taking it off your bill. He then brings me a fresh cup of coffee ?. I told him I didn’t want it. He said “ good”. I ask for a manager, he said “I am the manager “Wow!!!

Happy hour! They have a great happy hours Monday- Friday 4-7 and 10-close… Look online for the details but the hurricane, muffaletta, peel and eat shrimp were pretty good. Fun ambiance with nice music. They have life music but we came to early. Totally worth checking for a good deal… we did get some of the house infused rums, got a daiquiri and a mojito… pomegranate and strawberry mint (or similar), both drinks were good. Recommended.

We tried to come here once before but the waitress basically said she wasn’t going to serve us since it was 2:15 and brunch ended at 3. We gave it another try and were pleasantly surprised compared to last visit.We were welcomed like old friends walking in the door. the band was awesome and felt like it was out of a movie, and our waiter was so attentive, helpful, fun, and most importantly kept the drinks flowing for the bottomless mimosa! The food was also a nice twist on New Orleans style. Overall so fun, would go back for sure !
