Exceptional experience! From the minute we walked through the door to the moment we left, I felt like I have been dining at this restaurant for years. Unpretentious staff yet coupled with an eclectic menu creates a splendid foodie experience. Food is flavorful and fresh, beautifully executed and satisfying. We did al a carte, but I cannot wait to return for chef’s set course sampling. Don’t miss this hidden STL gem!

5 stars only for Adriane!! She was phenomenal and went above and beyond to help us around with food. The food was okay and the ambience wasn’t the greatest for fine dining. We have been to manyyyy fine dinings and this isn’t even worth fine dining. But the service was just great

What a great experience
Adrienne could not have been more personable and gave great service
Everything we tried was delicious with very unique ingredients and lovely presentation.
The crudo, skewers, spinach salad and fish excelled and then two over the top desserts
Cannot wait to go back!!

Disappointing, I made a reservation for shortly after they opened. They called to confirm and yet, still were not ready for me. I was a party of 1, they first tried to tick me away in the corner of the bar area. But then moves me to the middle of the dining room to a table where one side is a bench seat and the other side is a chair. I was the only patron in the entire restaurant and thought it would be weird to sit and face the wall so I chose tawat side where the 2 benches did not meet and there is a 3” gap in the middle of my seat. Very uncomfortable. I figured they had many parties coming so all the other tables were spoken for. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the beef tartar was supposed to have arugula but had frise. With my eyes nor my taste buds did I detect the cured egg yolk that was supposed to be in the dressing?? The mushroom salad sounded so good but again disappointed, pecans not toasted, warm bacon vinaigrette was not warm, apparently rehydrated mushrooms that were tough and without flavor except salt. The red drum was nice, (again lay off the salt chef!). warm and flavorful, the whipped white sweet potatoes and spoon bread. I ordered dessert of boiled and baked bread pudding with berry coulee (absent) in a vanilla bourbon sauce and this puck of a muffin tIn shaped “bread pudding”. Must have been mass produced weeks ago, pulled out of the refrigerator, not adequately warmed, a miniature little mint leaf stuck on the top and doused in the vanilla bourbon sauce. The top level of “bagels” nearly broke a tooth. I literally could not cut through it so I picked out from the
bottom. Bagels are not the right bread for bread pudding. I hope others have shared that with you too. The vanilla bourbon sauce was not like any I had ever tasted and I have tasted some great ones! If you have those type of prices and toute farm to table, you need to be making each dish fresh and properly as stated on the menu. Lay off the salt and let the food speak. I can only assume it was the wrong month to experience this place at its best. Maybe in the summer it would be experienced differently. You decide, I won’t be returning.

Everything was good, but steak had tough strings in it. I realize this can happen. But service was slow, and tables on each side of us were even worse. They were getting aggravated. I like that th menu changes, and we will probably give them another opportunity.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing!we had the pre-fix with wine pairings. Chef Jeff accommodated my allergy to green bell peppers with another course. Skyler’s attention to our service was impeccable and she had 3 others tables who received the same attention!! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful dinner service. Great attention to detail in all aspects. Wine pairings graced the courses one by one. Excellent Denver. Understanding cuts can create some great alternatives to traditional beef one finds elsewhere. Patty pan squash reminds me of our home garden.

As one looked around. Diners were happy. Explanation of courses and pairings was as expected. We would describe Farmhaus as a hidden gem with staff that made us feel welcome. We look forward to coming back.

If one enjoys farm to table. Add this to the list of places worth the time.

Last night’s visit to Farmhaus for my birthday celebration was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped into this delightful farm-to-table establishment, we were enveloped in an ambiance of enticing aromas, cozy warmth, and genuine authenticity. The food, a harmonious blend of flavors and freshness, left us utterly speechless.

Opting to share our selections among the three of us, each dish we sampled proved to be a culinary masterpiece. It was evident with each plate’s arrival that they were crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to using only the finest ingredients. From the irresistible appetizers to the delectable entrees and divine desserts, every bite was sheer perfection. We found it impossible to choose a favorite, as each dish offered a sublime combination of simplicity and flavor.

The service was equally impressive, with the staff effortlessly balancing fine dining attentiveness with a laid-back charm. The impeccable timing of each dish’s delivery, coupled with the staff’s friendly yet professional demeanor, made us feel genuinely cherished and attended to throughout the evening.

If I had to highlight one dish that stole the spotlight, it would undoubtedly be the wahoo fish with asparagus cream sauce. Caught fresh by the chef himself just days before, it stands as a true testament to Farmhaus’s unwavering commitment to sourcing the freshest ingredients. Truly, each dish we enjoyed was a culinary revelation, from the irresistible beef carpaccio with its luscious ancho spiced whipped cream to the rich and savory osso bucco, and the remarkably tender and flavorful beef skewers. And let’s not forget the delicately sweet strawberry tarte, a perfect ending to an exquisite meal.

As a Taurus foodie who savors the nuances of fine flavors and a welcoming ambiance, I can wholeheartedly attest that Farmhaus has secured a permanent place in my heart. I hope to make dinner at Farmhaus an annual birthday tradition for many years to come!
