I finally visited this restaurant I'd heard a lot of praise about, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The ambiance is stunning and genuinely authentic, which adds to the overall experience. The food was excellent with a diverse menu offering many great choices. The veal saltimbocca was so good!
A thoughtful touch was the complimentary piece of cake with a candle for my birthday. I especially enjoyed the patio and look forward to returning in the fall to fully appreciate it.

We came with a large group of about 30 people. There were two servers helping us, and both were very polite and courteous. The problem came when the more senior server brought the kids' table food out after a reasonable time, whereas the other server on their very first shift EVER had thetwo adult tables. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food to arrive. The kids were long done before we even started. As soon as our food came, we asked for the checks to speed up our departure. The kids table checks came soon after, but due to a mix-up with drinks, the rest of the tables' checks took another half an hour. We were told the POS system is slow, and to expect to wait ANOTHER 25 minutes for cards to be ran. I was there for 3 hours. Unreal. Spaghetti was pretty good at least...

Wowweee.I'll say I wasn't ready for that good of food but that fettuccine....OHHHHH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU, it rocked me sideways and forward. The portion was HUGE and the price? Far beyond fair...especially compared to other restaurants on the hill. OH and how could I forget, the bread....MILES and I mean MILES ahead of the bread and fake butter typically served up around the hill. The patio as well, just gorgeous along with great service and lucky us a beautiful sunset. If you're deciding between italian on the hill, well friends this is your sign. Quit reading reviews and make your reservation now. Your taste buds will thank you

Worst experience ever. I’m still in the restaurant and it has taken them an hour to run our check. It took over an hour and a half to serve our food so overall it has been 3 hours of a terrible experience.

This place was recommended by a local shop owner, but boy was it bad. We got the shrimp scampi which was very chewy and extremely salty. Also got the veal, which had a gross slimy texture. The side pasta felt still hard and undercooked, and the sauce it had was extremely salty as well. The only good things was the wine and French fries. Service wasn’t bad. Atmosphere was nice. But food was very bad.

Everything about this place is fantastic! We had the fettuccine Alfredo, Cannelloni, and the lasagna and it was all amazing! It definitely became my favorite place on the Hill to visit.

We went in as a party of 10 for my wife's birthday the other night. The place wasn't terribly busy and we had made a reservation. Even still the waitress at times seemed annoyed or put off. The food was only OK, average to par for "The Hill". Overall, I just wasn't impressed at all and when they're so many other options, yeah we won't be back.

The food was great but it just took a long time for them to prepare it and serve it. We had a party of 20 peoples and they gave us one server to take the orders and to pass out the food when it came. We were in the lower area of the restaurant and it was really chilly and when the server served the food it was semi warm because he had to serve a party of 20 all by himself.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday. Only a couple tables in the whole place and plenty of workers standing around. After 15 minutes of sitting without anyone coming to take even a drink order, we left.

Excellent Eye-talian eats. A nice covered patio with fireplace. Plenty of free parking in two lots and street parking too.

Parking: Many spots in the two parking lots plus free street parking.

Kid-friendliness: Children welcome

Wheelchair accessibility: The covered, heated patio is accessible off Southwest Ave.
