I walked into this bakery and was instantly taken back to the German bakery I grew up with. It smelled heavenly. I've never seen so many beautiful cookies! I got the coconut pineapple cheese coffeecake and an old fashioned cheesecake. Plus I got a cheese Danish for the road. It's all so good.
Live in Illinois but come to St Louis several days a week. Just learned of Federhofer's a month back and it's my new favorite bakery. They have a wide variety of baked items at what I consider a fair price especially when compared to other bakeries in the city and metro area. I, my family and coworkers can wholeheartedly vouch for the tastiness of the various cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cream puffs, Danish, long johns and jelly doughnuts we've had so far.
Amazing little bakery their baked good are phenomenal! I would 100% recommend giving this place a try.
