I walked into this bakery and was instantly taken back to the German bakery I grew up with. It smelled heavenly. I've never seen so many beautiful cookies! I got the coconut pineapple cheese coffeecake and an old fashioned cheesecake. Plus I got a cheese Danish for the road. It's all so good.

Live in Illinois but come to St Louis several days a week. Just learned of Federhofer's a month back and it's my new favorite bakery. They have a wide variety of baked items at what I consider a fair price especially when compared to other bakeries in the city and metro area. I, my family and coworkers can wholeheartedly vouch for the tastiness of the various cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cream puffs, Danish, long johns and jelly doughnuts we've had so far.
Amazing little bakery their baked good are phenomenal! I would 100% recommend giving this place a try.

My family has been customers of Federhofers for decades, since before I was born, and I will continue the tradition! Best bakery by far. Took a cake into work today and it was a huge hit, one of the best cakes we’ve gotten and we get a lot working at a doctors office. Thanks Federhofers!

Had two cakes made here and have used them before. Had our daughter’s 1st year smash cakes made. Wanted both the same just different days. First one I picked up and the color was wrong, more of a pink then a rose gold. I take it back after my wife sees it and says that’s not the color. They keep the decorators there til I get back and quickly fix it. The color again isn’t the rose gold but they did give a a complimentary Gooey Butter Cake(was okay, tasted burnt and not set). On the next cake they did a number 1 instead of spelled out and the color again was wrong, they added clear sprinkles but should’ve added an edible spray rose gold. We will continue to use them for cake, cupcake designs and will stop in for some donuts(so good!) , this one was just a one off x 2.
We had Federhofers make our wedding cake and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine. Tyler and Bryce did such a good job turning our cake into an exquisite masterpiece. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much!

I love everything I’ve ever had from Federhofer’s Bakery. I’ve been going here for 40+ years. Some of my favorite items include strawberry stollen, pecan stollen, gooey butter cake, pumpkin loaf, buttercream icing cake with buttercream and strawberry filling, butter cookies, and frosted cookies. I’m always impressed with their artwork on cakes and cookies.
For several years, I have been searching for a good old-fashioned chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, made with real butter & not chock full of almond extract. I finally found the perfect chocolate cake at Federhofers! It was moist, light & flavorful and took me back to when cakes were made were the best of ingredients instead of edible oils & preservatives. Thank you for the best birthday cake I've had in decades.
