Great spot for coffee, avo toast, and/or a pastry. Even better when the weather is good enough to sit outside. A short wait to order and receive your order, but worth it.NOT recommended to work or read a book, as people are aggressively trying to get seating throughout the day.
Recommended dishes: Avocado Toast with Added Egg, Spring Avocado Toast

Best coffee shop in town hands down. During weekends it gets a bit busy but tables turn over pretty quickly. Their toasts are 10/10. I think it’s a perfect weekend breakfast spot to catch up with friends or go on a solo

Everything is always fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. I love the lattes, or just coffee. The shrub cocktails cannot be beat. They give so much attention to detail. Their avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had. Salads are so tasty and healthy. Perfect vibe too.
The owner has created a humble, clearly very brilliant spot.

First time trying this store and It’s so bad. All foods are Not fresh and the test is not delicious. I ordered lavender Latte and was so bad, not even warm. It’s expensive not deserving even trying it for one time.

Love this amazing space nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. Food was delightful and delicious and the atmosphere and service just as welcoming.
Food was cold. Process of getting a table during peak was weird. We came and sat at an empty spot just to be told that it was assigned. That was ok till we saw someone who came after us just sat at another table that was just became vacant. The only good thing I can say is they recovered from their mistakes by them saying they will take away the cold food away from the bill and we got the next available table

We spent $18 on two coffee drinks and then told we couldn’t sit at or use the tables because we had chosen paper (to go) cups. Lady actually asked us to “stand up” so she could seat others. I was so confused I just stared at her at first. I was a paying customer and I was still looking at the menu to decide what food to order!

Best Croissants in St. Louis! One of my fav places to sit and work for a bit, but be aware there’s almost no charging ports.Other than that, easily my fav coffee shop in stl. The baked goods are delicious, the drinks are amazing and made with lots of love. (The only drink I don’t recommend is their matcha)Atmosphere is great, lots of natural light and the staff are all very friendly and kind.Kid-friendliness: Great outdoor area with room for kids and strollers. Inside is pretty tight with tables

Please note, this cafe is not ideal for getting work done on the computer. There are limited outlets and assigned table seating, additionally there is a 90min limit at each table.Overall: Lovely cafe, great patio, I recommend the ube latte (it's purple!) or the rose garden latte!

After coming home from a late-night shift, I wanted to try a new coffee shop. I found this place, which was only a few minutes drive from my apartment, and so I drove here. It had plenty of good reviews, so I wanted to see what the hype is all about, and I'm always exploring new shops I can find in STL. The location of this place is within walking distance from the Botanic Garden. I parked my car on the street as it was only street parking, and I walked to the shop. The shop itself is a vibe. The atmosphere is inviting, and there are plenty of tables and seats to choose from, although, when I arrived this morning, it was packed and busy since it's the weekend and it is almost the end of the year.I ordered a salted caramel latte and two pastries: vanilla ube and cheese Danish. Out of all the places I've been to, like coffee shop-wise, this place has the best pastries to go with your coffee. I'm impressed by how delicious and flaky the pies I've tried. I'll return here and dine in next time instead of taking my orders. This place is a hidden treasure of the neighborhood, and I can tell why!
