I had the fish and it was really good. I also had a frozen margarita oh boy did enjoy it the atmosphere was friendly and pleasant I will be going back although I live quite a ways away but it's worth the drive.👌🏽

Their frozen drinks have Ever-clear in them. The food is nasty and overpriced. I had hair in my food they had an excuse why it couldn’t have been their hair in the food and the space is uncomfortably small. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

This was my first visit small establishment I order from the menu salmon eggs and grits. When I received my food I did not expect salmon croquettes. I did inform the owner that the menu was incorrect and it should have read salmon croquettes. I was a bit disappointed. The portions were small for the price.
My husband and I heard of the Firehouse 282 business and because we both love fish we decided to go Sat Dec 9, 2024 at about 3 oclock. We entered and sat at the bar. Two females were behind the bar, a song was on the lite complexion female glanced at us as she sung and jirated. The second lady had her back to us, so she didn't see us. As the THIRD song began to play, I looked at my husband as he had crossed his arms, and I said shouldn't we have been waited on by now, he replied lets go. We received no greeting, no menu, no how can I help you, after being glanced at several times. What we did get was singing and jiration. Husband said never again I will not be back. It appeared the waiter came to party but not to work. It's hard to get good help, especially when the business is not theirs. We went to Mothers.

We for an outdoor band event and was pleasantly surprised by this gem in the middle of Vandervender. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff & customers I felt at home immediately.
