I ordered whiting dinner, fish was fresh and cooked very well, the fries were soggy no salt. My guy ordered tripe sandwiches with fries, got tripe but no fries. We got a lot of food for our money. We plan to order from here again soon.

I had been looking for another good black, owned fish, restaurant, other than mothers. Even though I like mothers fish, there aren’t many around…. When I found the Fishhouse, I realize I had found a home.. it’s a family owned business, and their fish is fresh and fried well. They even have good sides, and I don’t usually eat everyone’s side dishes.

I've ordered from the Fish House numerous times. The buffalo fish was hot and flavorful as was the spaghetti and coleslaw. Loved the shrimp dinner cooked to order. Nothing is cooked until you've ordered. It's clean and everyone is cordial. Food is reasonably priced. I shall return. Hate the parking lot.

Stopped here because it was close to where i was visiting and Mom wanted some catfish steaks. Service was great, food not so much. I ordered the catfish steak dinner with okra and fries. My mom was unsatisfied and i stay south so by the time i would've had a chance to bring it back, it would've been pointless. She said the fish was overcooked and the sides were okay. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take pictures.
