Went there for an event and I must say I was very impressed. The atmosphere was awesome, the owners are very professional and understanding. The food was DELICIOUS! I will be back!

This is truly a *family* run restaurant. They had members of all ages of the family working their a**es off in there during the Big Muddy Blues festival over Labor Day Weekend. Some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. Let's keep these good people i'm business!!

WOW! You gotta try this place. We were in a rush yesterday and had to take our lunch to go, but it was so good I had to write a review. I had the ribs and they were tender, flavorful and just plain delicious. The side of dirty rice was so good - so authentic with lots of flavor. The spoon corn bread was excellent also. Hubby had pulled pork sandwich which again was great. I just wish we could have eaten in the restaurant so we could tell them personally how good it was. Thanks for a great meal!!!

Let me start by saying 10 out of 10. The food is great, and so is the service. I get the same quality service EVERY time I walk in the building. They are a wonderful family providing quality service along the Landing. I order here at least 3 times weekly. I usually take out to get back to work, but dining in is a vibe!
Tried this place during their ‘soft launch’ in early July. Both food and service were excellent. The ribs, wings, and sweet potatoes were especially good. The owner and his family were very kind and generous during our visit.

You can tell that there was so much time and effort put into the food and it pays off greatly. The atmosphere was extremely reminiscent of an old blues stage, since that is what the building was. Very calming music and service that makes you feel at home. Greatly recommend

Our first stop coming from Seattle. I wanted some good BBQ and Smokestaq delivered. You won’t be disappointed with this smoke and sauce. Their whole family provided superb service. Definitely a must when visiting downtown.
