Special-ordered filet with shrimp, grilled to perfection and topped with a whole-roasted garlic cream sauce. Best carbonara I've ever had. Delicious fried escarole to start, delectable cassata cake to finish. Brought two kids and the servers treated them like royalty. This story is dime-a-dozen among Frank Papa's patrons. Brentwood's best-kept secret. Order the Carpini! Or the "eviction notice" pasta. Those chocolate martinis, and that chocolate ravioli. I could go on and on about this legendary restaurant. I could write a book about how working there changed my life. And tonight, I tell you now as a diner, the train is on the tracks and full speed ahead with Frank's more-than-capable nephew Rob at the controls. The food is still incredible, the service warm and welcoming, the atmosphere...home.If you have never been to Frank Papa's, I implore you: go. If you haven't been in a while: return. You won't find a more inviting fine-dining establishment with better food in St. Louis.

Amazing food and service. First time there will not be the last. Old Fashions were perfect especially the smoked one. Veal picatta and crab stuffed filet were delicious.

Good food and good service although will have to say, felt rushed during dinner. Had reservations at 6:30. Was told we could not have our appetizers while we had our menus (?) at the table. I asked if I could put on my lap and the waiter did not think it was funny at all. Had to hurry and decide what we wanted for dinner. After our desert was over we felt as though we were the last people in the restaurant, the bartender mentioned we were. It was half an hour before closing time but obviously they wanted to get out of there early. I have been going here for many years but if I want a relaxing dinner, it won't be here. Btw-bill was substantial.

Excellent food, service, drinks, and ambience. We had Caesar salad, salmon scozzese, tri color tortellini fiorentine, and ziti ala carbonara. Everything was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. We stopped by around 7pm after a show at the Fox. It was busy but we were seated within 15 minutes. However, I'd strongly advise reservations. I think we lucked out with our timing. I would recommend Frank Papa's to anyone looking for fantastic Italian.

*WARNING* I visited this restaurant during New Year's eve and they had a special food menu. Maybe the main menu is cheaper, but probably the same quality food. This place was extremely overpriced. I understand I got an appetizer, salad, and entree for $79.99, but I was expecting much higher quality food. The calamari was well done but besides that the food was nowhere near the price I paid. My girlfriend got the bruschetta and it was on the same bread they served with bread and butter. The salads were too wet. The entrees were worth about half the price. We got the short rib and lobster linguine. My conclusion is that this restaurant was really taking advantage of the holiday. I feel ripped off to say the least. I wouldn't say it was bad quality but my girlfriend and I both paid $79.99 ($160) and she had a glass of wine. With tax our total was over $180. I just can't believe we paid that for Applebee's level food. Again wouldn't say the food was bad (portions were great), but the taste was terrible for the price. With tip we paid over $200 for mediocre food. Service and settings were great, but Benevolent King, Napoli, and Brassiere were all better and cheaper.

First time here and IT WAS AMAZING. The service was Outstanding and the food Delish. Everyone in our party was pleased with what they ordered and we all cleaned our plates. The Choc. Ravioli was different and not what we expected, but delish none the less. This is a well kept secret that we clearly are so glad we found.
