It was our first visit to this restaurant, looked for working hours on Google, but when we've arrived there it was closed.. it didn't even seem to have someone working inside, no notes outside, no posts anywhere or anything similar.. we've waited for a while and then finally gave up. It's sad, we were very curious with so many good reviews. We would love to try it again, but it was our last day in town so...

Really good, and in fact, brilliant. The sausages are Sublime. The Smashburger is absolutely Sublime, and fairly large. The french fries are prepared in a complicated process where they're frozen then blanched then fried Etc and they are just dreamy. Crispy on the outside but creamy on the inside and the fries are very large.

Everything was spot on; cool ambiance, great service, the food😍. Had Verde sausage that was yummy. Everything was so fresh: sausage, bun, hand cut fries, and even the ketchup tasted fresh and homemade. Love this place!!

Walked in around 5 pm on a Saturday, they only had 2 items left on the menu board, enough said!!! Won't go back and went to another establishment to eat. Oh, did I mention that their advertised hours were until 11pm. As it turns out I received a response from this establishment that they have closed their door and that day was their last day in business.

If you want to experience pure passion, this place is for you! This pleasant hub of non-pretentious fare is food nerdery at its finest. I got the burger and homemade cheese fries. "Burger and fries" seems so ordinary when you say it. And I've had a burger and fries many times before...but not like this! It was swanky. It was fly!...I just can't describe it. You've just got to go and see it for yourself.... The crisp on their fries is just fiendish! They are so crispy in fact you will conclude that there must be some sorcery going on back in the kitchen. The fact that you can order to have raclette melted off a cheese wheel and scraped on to your fries like they do in New York City...New York City!... should make you stampede the place in a curious culinary frenzy. You're in St. Louis and you can have this! What more could you wish for? I don't know about you but I am flabbergasted at this. (Google raclette cheese videos and then you'll *really* want to go!) The beer selection is quite good as my companion noted but since I don't drink beer I went for a pre-bottled cocktail. The pre-bottled Pinkney Bend gin and tonic was fantastically good....as good or better than any gin and tonic I've ever had. What a great idea. I highly recommend it. Good stuff!

This place may be out of your way if you live in the county like me, but the food is well worth the trip. My favorites are the smoked wings, fish & Chips and of course the Okie Onion Burger. Wow, you will be glad you did!

After going to another restaurant on Cherokee and finding out they didn't have much on the menu available due to a menu transition, my sister and I happened upon Frankly on Cherokee. Having German heritage, we're both fans of a good brat. Frankly's interior has a very welcoming feel to it. Rustic wooden tables, chalkboard menu board, and beautiful hanging Edison lights are some of the design highlights. Upon reaching the register I decided to go for the beer brat and a side of fries with the rosemary and kalamata dipping sauce. After paying for the items I noticed the half wheel of Raclette being melted on top of fries in the kitchen, and decided right away to make another order with those fries! The brats were really good. Nice and simple. I'm not a fan of sauerkraut, but I was digging it on this brat. I was also happy to see they use La Bonne Bouchee buns for their brats, as I'm a fan of their bakery. The fries were good, classic hand-cut fries. The rosemary kalamata dipping sauce was a perfect pairing, and those savory Raclette cheese fries were piping hot with the cheese stretching when you pulled a fry off the pile. Nice stretchy cheese is always a good sign. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, asking if we needed anything at all and making sure everything was good during the meal. It's was nice to read that Frankly on Cherokee uses local ingredients and humanely raised meats. That kind of ethic is something I can really stand behind. Thanks, Frankly on Cherokee, for a great meal!
