The rice was good!! I ordered ham fried, special fried and shrimp fried, special egg foo young ,and ham St. Paul for me and my family. I was afraid to order bc of the reviews and some reviews had that the rice has a burnt taste. The rice did not taste burnt. The only thing I will say they are pricey! I spent $68 and yes these were all whole orders

Customer service was excellent. He was very patient while taking my phone order, attentive when I arrived. The food was great besides crab Rangoon (little withered) but egg foo young, fried rice, St. Paul all was delicious! Only bad thing was the area, but I can deal with that.
The rice very dry , the crab Rangoon was very over

Food is not what it used to be… and it’s HIGH! 2 1/2 orders of rice and 2 orders of wings almost $30. Chicken wings are bland now… 5 years ago this was my favorite place now… I think it’s time for me to move on .

The Harlem Tap Room is a landmark in St. Louis city. It was there before I was born.Small little shot gun style bar. Everyone knows each other . And if you are a stranger, it will not be for long. Drinks are great. They don't serve food, but you can order out. Once a week, the provider prepares a small buffet for the regulars . Dart boards are there for your pleasure. And great music. There is security for the bar, and they will walk you to your car when leaving. Security was very visible inside and out. I felt safe . It was my first time at the Harlem Tap Room . The age group is 40"s and up, with a few younger people. But not enough to make you nervous if you like an older crowd. Just a neighborhood k8nd of bar.

Their food is horrible. It always has a burnt taste to it, and the rice is always hard. I would not recommend eating at this place. It really needs to be closed down.

The rice tasted good but they don't put any meat in the rice and if you ask to order extra meat it cost $ 10.00. don't make any sense.Parking: You have to park on the street which is always busy.
The food is terrible now I have been going to this place since I was a kid. It was the best fried rice in St. Louis, now since the owner died and left it to his daughter Sue who I know to be the best person and best cook at this establishment now she's not there and the two dudes that's there are rude and unprofessional told my disabled son they're not giving him white rice cause none was cook so they gave him fried rice instead. I'm done with this place, they need to close. If Sue it's there any more I'm done eating there.

I got there after 5:00p so I got what tasted like old, oily, hard rice with VERY LITTLE MEAT, no extra eggs or onions. Definitely not going back.

if I could do NO STARS I WOULD. HORRIBLE BURNT FRIED RICE ( YOU CAN SMELL THE BURNTNESS AND TASTE IT).Over cooked dry.Egg Foo Young is trifling, so dark, and taste like lots soy sauce( I mean alot). Do not waste your time, money or gas..Parking: off to the side of Dr. Martin Luther Kibg
