I've never had gelato before and I had one scoop of the salted caramel. It was so rich & smooth. The part I liked the best was that it was not too sweet. It was delicious. We went on a Saturday and it was a gorgeous day outside so it was very busy in the shop. The 2 young ladies that served us were so friendly and took the time to explain the difference between gelato, ice cream & frozen custard. Delicious gelato! They had probably 20 flavors, including different fruit ones and more traditional milk based. The smallest size is very generously filled - it was 2 big scoops. There is seating both indoors and outside, but there is a lovely square behind the restaurant with a big fountain and checkers and chess.
