We knew early on that we wanted Mexican food for our reception. We met with Genesis because we saw that they had a "South of the Border" package. We were able to fully customize the package down to types of tortillas and various toppings (black beans, pico, guac, olives, types of cheese, etc.) We were also able to coordinate chips and salsa at all 23 table for a very reasonable price. Many of our attendants later told us that they loved the taco bar instead of the traditional wedding fare.Genesis was able to cater our wedding at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque parish center.

Excellent would recommend the place for any event that is family or locally events great place. Kudos to the bartender very nice very friendly and he knows what he's doing when he makes a drink not too much, but drink is satisfying!

They hosted my father's celebration of life reception. From the initial phone call to the event, it was smooth, the staff was courteous and friendly, and the facility was clean and welcoming. Our guests complimented the facility and enjoyed the food.

they did my wedding at the moolah- very knowledgeable about the venue which was made things really easy. the lady who coordinated our event was awesome and kept everything on trackfood was great- tastes very homestyle- we got roast beef, chicken marsala, green beans, mashed potatoes, mostaccioli.and amazing for the price!

Food was very tasty, mostaccioli, roast beef, salad, ravioli... Volleyball girls had lots of fun. I heard the music was being projected through some speakers using battery power as DJ's are too expensive, but the batteries lasted the whole party. Owner graciously added more light as needed so I could see to twist balloons.

I meant to do this review last year right after my event but I forgot after traveling back home after the holidays then someone asked me about this place last night and it reminded me. However, this place was amazing!!!!! I did my divorce party here and it was absolutely perfect. The bartender knew how to make plenty of delicious drinks, the food was very taste with plenty of choices, and the set up was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t have a DJ and it wasn’t missed. They have an incredible sound system that you can hook your phone up to and it’s just as good as a DJ which is what I did. The guy who runs this business is sooooooo nice and friendly. He made the process extremely easy and stress free. If I ever need an event space back home (in STL) I will always choose this space and recommend it to others.
