The best chicken and waffles ever...
I'm so upset this place is gone. This is what happens when you let people who are not from here own historic landmarks smh
When y’all gonna be open again? I miss the honey glaze
This place isn’t openI believe it burned down
Goody Goody Diner is St. Louis’s BEST DINER! I personally love the chicken and waffles, with an ICY mug of milk! The owner is a wonderful man that greets you and the staff is very nice and ON POINT with great service. I pray they open again, soon!
Ate here because the reviews were awesome. we were on a road trip from Topeka to Florida. we arrived about 20 minutes before open. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. service was....indifferent. we won't be back. we did buy a coffee mug as a souvenir, it's a good mug but it reminds me of what a crappy time we had there. the rest of our trip was spectacular!
Although their website represents that they are alive and kicking this place is completely boarded up and looks like it has been so for many months. Wasted drive through a sketchy part of town.
I love this place. The food is amazing and the service is great.

A very cozy, great service, and food. Just a down home cooking.
Always loved to have breakfast and carry out lunches there before the fire. Can't wait until they are open again for they are truly missed.
Absolutely loved this place! Read the reviews and decided to go there for breakfast. They had large portions. Great food, service, and atmosphere. The employees were welcoming and accommodating. The greeter at the front door was an entertainer and poet. This is definitely a place you want to visit if you are looking for great food and to see a piece of history. It's an unexpected gem.
How have I lived my whole life in St Louis without visiting this gem! Amazing service and absolutely fabulous food. The catfish was as good as my mom's!
The atmosphere is fantastic! The host is one of a kind and super friendly. Stay away from the chains and come to this local diner
