Stopped in with my wife for the first time on Friday, 12/6/25 at 10 AM and loved it. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was fresh and delicious. Grand Pied made a great first impression — we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for breakfast and it was so yummy! We got the beignets and sausage gravy and their CJ slinger. We also got black coffee and shaken iced oat chair latte. We will be back asap! I wanted to try everything on the menu.

Every part of my meal was great and I loved the style of the place. Felt like I was eating a great meal in someone’s very comfortable home. Recommend the grits and omelettes

The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is nice but no physical menus or wait staff to explain the food, and worst you have to order from a QR code. You will be on your during the meal dealing with a digital menu and digital payments. Not a full restaurant experience.

Meh. The food was just ok.
You do everything yourself through a QR code which is great because you can order right away.
I got the pancakes and a side of eggs. Brought in some drinks from the local grocery store down the street but ordered a shaken iced coffee from here as well which was nice. We were still enjoying our drinks though and were told to leave even though other tables had been there longer. So that was a bummer.
We won't be back, but it was good to try once.

Whoa!!! First time here and I will definitely be back! Cute place and my food was fantastic! I got the Line Cook Delight: Grits topped with beef chili and 'eggs your way' - I got over-easy. Really unbelievably good; would be a great hangover breakfast too :) I went on a weekday mid-morning and it was full but no wait because I sat at the bar. You order on your phone and they don't take cash, no problem for me but good to know. Highly recommend!!

The food at Grand Pied tasted great and we really enjoyed our meals. The only downside was the reservation experience: my friend called ahead for a table of 6 and was told they don’t take reservations. When we arrived, there was a table for 4 and 2 available, but we were told it was being held for someone who had just called. Online it even showed no wait. Thankfully, we were eventually seated, and a kind couple moved so our group could sit together. Overall, the food was excellent, but the seating process could definitely be more consistent.
Employees were nice, but didn't tell me you have to order through the QR Code. Sat there way too long before I realized it.
Food was good, but not worth what I paid (just my opinion).

My brother and I have never been here before and while it's up on the board we thought it was for specials so I didn't really think to look.
We specifically looked at the website to see what they had but nobody explained or asked us if it was our first time and it took us a half an hour to realize you had to order through the website or The QR code.
Maybe if this was a lot more common in a lot of places we would have realized a lot quicker but you should really let the people know and ask if they've been there before because the table next to us didn't know either and for some reason they explained to her but not to us.
The food was decent, I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich but there wasn't as much of a flavor profile and the coleslaw on the sandwich overtook even the hot honey chicken.
I don't know if my heat tolerance is just too high or if it's just lacking?
The dirty potatoes we're very good and delicious crispy on the outside and soft in the middle like it should be and that was the best part of our meal unfortunately.
They have good food but I don't think it's enough to bring us back.
Overall our bill cost $70 after tip for the two of us and in my opinion the cost did not equate to the meal.

Shocked at all the positive reviews with how bad the service was, obviously they were short staffed and it wasn’t a problem until we were being told “we can only hold your table for 10-15 more minutes” after just receiving my food which was also a 30+ minute wait. Not to mention the prices…

Very yummy food and atmosphere. Beautiful dining room located in Tower grove south. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch if you are trying to impress.
