I love Grassi's. I've been several times, and always get something different. Never had a bad meal - the food is simply home-style Italian and delicious. Not many places like Grassi's left, so you have to love a place that true to traditions.

Grassi's Ristorante has been excellent I'm everything I've tried so far. This place has great customer service, excellent food, and great options to choose from. I ordered the meatball sandwich this time with a side salad and it was delicious. I love their food, not a bad thing to say about it.

PROS: Food was okay.

CONS: I didn’t get everything I ordered over the phone and I definitely paid way more than I should’ve. I asked for no side salads and for substitutes instead, but I only got a single serving of french fries across 2-3 whole meals. The portions were also pretty small. For ~$65, I got pretty small portions of everything I received - 10 toasted little ravioli, a pretty small eggplant parm, a not great maybe average-sized beef sandwich, a bit of french fries, some garlic bread, and two tiny desserts. Also, the receipt I received didn’t outline how much each item cost or what I got either, so I really didn’t have a way to go back and ask at the time.

OVERALL: If I were in the area, I would maybe consider trying it again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. I feel like that they might’ve just not understood me over the phone for this takeout order, but I’d rather not spend another $65 on misunderstandings and small portions.

Always a delicious treat to head out to Grassi's, one of St. Louis's best hidden gems! The food has been nothing short of amazing every time I've visited. I took my 8 year old son recently, and not only did he love his pizza, he loved almost half of my meatball sandwich [highly reccomend], and even my small side salad! Can't go wrong with any food from Grassi's!
