We love the owners' other restaurants, particularly Eleven Eleven, and liked Hamilton's quite a bit on our first visit, but the food this week made it hard to ever want to return. We didn't hesitate going there even though we are trying, like a lot of people, to eat less red meat, because we knew there would be plenty of other things on the menu -and there were, but they were so disappointing.. The lettuce in the Caesar salad was so limp it was almost soggy. The shrimp on it was soggy like to had been frozen and thawed. Since Steak houses are known for awesome baked potatoes- crispy, flavorful skin and creamy and fluffy potatoes inside- ours was served room temperature and tasted more like a boiled than baked potato. The tuna appetizer was also a huge disappointment. The pieces were an inch thick, kind of tough and flavorless. The wonton accompaniment was as warm and smelled of frying oil. The Brussel Sprouts saved the day. They were crispy and delicious. I suspect this would have been a rave review had we had filet and Brussels Sprouts. The place was busy and the service was good- the food just was not worth the visit.

If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. Bread service was great with homemade garlic butter. Both of us had strip steaks that felt more like a ribeye. Otherwise the flavor of the steak was great. We loved the chocolate torte. Smaller space, but nicely decorated. Treated us great for our anniversary!

My date took me to Hamilton's for my birthday. Our Server, Griffin was outstanding. He was courteous, patient, and very helpful. I ordered the Ribeye, a caesar salad, and the twice baked potatoes. I'd gotten gorgonzola butter to top my steak, which upped the ante of the overall flavor, which was already delicious. *Chef's kiss. The potatoes were loaded with creamy, bacon-filled deliciousness. My date ordered the Ribeye too. He opted for mashed potatoes instead. He had his steak accompanied with the port wine mushroom sauce. We were sharing our sides with one another and enjoyed both styles of the potatoes. At one point toward the end of our meal, we combined his mushroom sauce with my softened gorgonzola butter and found it to be a rich, well paired, combination to finish off our steaks. Along the way, we also ordered the Maker's Mark bourbon flight that included Maker's 46, and the 101 Limited Release. All three were delicious. We also ordered shots of the Heaven's Door for me, and the Black Maple Hill for him. The Heaven's Door was exquisite. I took a sip of his Black Maple Hill and it was smooth with a serious kick. The manager came and asked if our steaks were to our liking and if the food overall was good. To finish off the celebration of my special day, they offered complimentary bread pudding topped with caramel sauce, and caramel ice cream as our dessert. It was plentiful, allowing me to share it with my date. It was the perfect finish to a scrumptious meal. I highly recommend Hamilton's for a date night, or a night out with friends. Great ambience, mouth-watering, flavorful food, and excellent service.

The food was very flavorful and the steak was cooked perfectly. It was just me, so I sat at the bar, and the bartender was a little slow to acknowledge me. I recognize he was filling drinks for the restaurant as well. While the service wasn't perfect, the bartender was attentive when I needed it. The bar atmosphere and ambiance are small but nice, but don't sit on the corner like I did as it made people who passed by a little frustrating. Overall, it's still a great restaurant.

The steak was amazing. My mother has never ordered a steak any way other than well-done and was floored by the medium well.The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and provided both a detailed history and flavor profile of select whiskeys/bourbons. This took the experience to a new level as we were able to apply that knowledge when tasting a flight.Amazing experience. Will definitely be back!

There are not many places that live can check off ALL of the boxes for 5 stars across the board but Hamilton’s does. This place was so good I actually went twice while on a work trip.The first night was on a Wednesday with a small group of three in the bourbon room and service and steak (pictured) was spectacular.The second night was on a Friday with a larger group of 10. Again the food and service was top notch.The restaurant was incredibly accommodating for us throughout our meal.
