Great place. Waitress staff is fantastic and food is very good. PS beer is cold
I didn’t get to experience anything… after asking the server if could sit outside, I proceeded to end up sitting there for 20minutes until I decided to get up and leave. I was never acknowledged given a menu or anything
Came here on a saturday night to sit outside. The servers were attentive and promptly refilled drinks. We ordered the potato skins, cajun mac n cheese with blackened chicken (was an absolute hit), and the toasted ravioli. All of the food was delicious and drinks were good!
We are visiting St. Louis and my 17 year-old son loves live music. He’s going to start college in the fall studying jazz performance so I always look for restaurants with life music. I found this restaurant by searching Google and it got really good reviews so we thought we would try it out. It’s in a very old neighborhood in St. Louis, but when we entered it, it was a lively and very welcoming dive bar type atmosphere. It’s very small, there’s booths on the right and a bar on the left with some tables in the middle. There were many people inside, and they were all happy and singing and welcoming as one of the live performers had just finished his set. We ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner. It was myself, the hubby and our 2 teenagers. At 8 PM a second performer took the stage and we enjoyed listening to him for the next hour. It wasn’t the jazz, but it was still very enjoyable . A saxophonist and then a harmonica, joined him on stage. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. My only complaint is that the booths are all wood and I must say all four of us were complaining about how our asses hurt from sitting on wood benches for almost 2 hours. 😂 The food was OK, I gave it four stars. I would definitely go there again if we lived around here. We all enjoyed it very much.
Great for weekend breakfasts!
Classmate and I stopped by 3/15/25
It was a very friendly vibe, live band was cool. We got there late so kitchen was closed. The staff were amazing.

Best breakfast in the city!
Is a phenomenal place for delicious food and phenomenal vibes and great bands and the people are awesome here also !! Just an all around great place !!
Stumbled into this place as we were seeking live Blues music. Well we struck gold. Great vibe, fantastic blues band playing the good stuff, ice cold beverages, friendly crowd, and even got a little history lesson as the building itself is from 1884. Love the character of the whole place. Pick a night when they have live music, order some food/drink and enjoy . . . you really can’t go wrong.
