So yummy
Being from Miami and growing up in the Cuban community, this place immediately reminded me of home. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The ham croqueta was especially delicious—crispy on the outside and filled with fresh, tasty ham. The guava pastry was also top-notch, flaky and just the right amount of sweet.
We had the ropa vieja with rice and beans, and it was cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was flavorful and comforting.
My only complaint was the service—we had to remind the staff about parts of our order, and a few items never made it to the table. They were removed from the bill, but it was a bit frustrating. Also, there was no AC, which made it a bit uncomfortable, but it did add to the “authentic Cuba” feel.
Overall, the food was great, and I definitely regret not ordering an extra croqueta and guava pastry!
To all to all the world who have not tried Havana's cuisine I urge you in fact I recommend that you go and you try it. If you haven't had Cuban cuisine you're in for a real treat. I guarantee you if you've never been you'll go again and again and again thank you Katia I appreciate your legacy and all your hard work it really shows!!!!
this cuban is quite possibly the best sandwich ive ever had. the first time i had it, it was cold from the fridge, as i had just come home from a long shift at work and dinner had been picked up earlier. somehow the bread was still crispy. it was amazing. the congri rice too. there are not many meals that i actively think about after the fact, but this one keeps coming back to me. ive since had the sandwich and rice warm, and it's even better. i will definitely be coming back for more.
greasy but tasty. black beans were on point!
This is a delightful little spot. Great food and great service. Some highlights for me personally: Mojito made just the way I like it (extra mint), and some of the best fried plantains I have ever had (including my travels through the Caribbean). Thanks for a great meal ❤️
Really great Cuban sandwich and maduros.
The BEST Cuban sandwich I've ever had! Incredible Picadillo and the empanadas were to die for! Everything we had was EXCELLENT! Chef Tamara outdid herself! Can't wait to go back.
Best Cuban food in St Louis. Everything was excellent. You will want to go back and try all of the food on the menu.

Tried the ropa vieja and Cuban sandwiches. Both delicious. The beef and cheese empanada was great and so were the french fries. Portions are large so we'll have to come back to try more options. Everything looked so good!

We went for a late lunch while visiting Barnes Jewish Hospital. The food was excellent. The Rojas and the Picadillo were our choices.
