I live a block away and I had been here before the previous owner passed away. I was a little apprehensive about returning and what it might be like. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the French dip was even better than before! It was amazing along with the onion petals!

Having never experienced Jack salmon, I had to give this apparent STL institution a try. they did not disappoint! I had the blue cheese slaw, which was incredibly good (but could have been more chilled) and the Jack salmon was tender, flaky and delicious. It appeared to be crunchy on the outside, yet the crust wasn’t crunchy. The fries appeared to be nice and crispy, as I like them, but they were room temperature.
