Didn't eat so unable to comment on the grub. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us near closing - much appreciated. Beer and vibe were perfect for stout tasting. I'd revisit.

Pumpkin spice beer was great with more chai flavor than pumpkin. Hat dance had a lot of spice. Beware of darkness is really good but sweet while dear agony was very smooth. Outdoor patio is nice with lots of seating.

Spectacular brisket! Some of the best in town. Maybe the best.

Our group of 14 went there after a trip to the Zoo. They had no table service and no menus. After 15 minutes of trying to figure out how to get to the menu via our smart phones, we left and went to Seamus McDaniels. They had table service and menus. It was excellent.

Heavy Riff is an incredible brewery, with a fun metal/rock vide, with so many taps and great beers to choose from. I always end up getting a flight (or three!) when I’m visiting St. Louis. ?

Great beers. A wide variety is here. The fruited ales are great and some good sours.

Some great sours and cream ales. Been waiting to justify a trip to STL to visit here and was able to check it out.

We really enjoyed our visit at Heavy Riff. The service was exceptional and the food surprisingly better than expected. Only because many brew pubs the food is average. Lots of space in and out. The reason for a 4 star versus 5 star is the quantity of lactose loaded beers. I'm glad that Fad is starting to die out (FireStone Walker, Wellspent). At least make one Dear Agony without milk sugars! I thought their Belgium Quad was exceptionally delicious and the Czech pilsner.

This place felt more bar than restaurant. The brisket which was featured prominently over a lot of the menu items was dry as hell and not particularly inspiring. The brisket sandwich which for $14 was purely bread and meat which honestly is rediculous. I put my cheesy potato's on it to give it any kind of flavor profile. Not impressed at all.
If you want to come for a drink that's pretty much all this place is good for
