Cancelled 4 hours before the show on New Year’s Eve because the headliner was “sick.” If you’re too sick to go on, you know more than 4 hours prior to the show. You have to be joking.

They gave us reserve seating because we got there early and they didn’t all fill. Drew Lynch was amazing, and the staff was friendly, they definitely added to our experience. Thank you!!

The comedian was top notch and even in the back, seating was great. The food and service was terrible, though. We didn’t get our food until 10 mins before the set ended.

Venue is fine- I don’t like the mandatory food and beverage requirements- just charge what the ticket should be.

What an amazing comedy venue! I love the funny bone, but it just felt more spacious here. Also to have a food menu was a major plus. Venue, staff, food and drinks.....A+!
We saw Lisa Ann Walters, can't wait for our next trip back!

We loved the show. I would recommend eating before you go. Even though we ordered 15 minutes before the show started our food never came. They did give us a random free thing that was not ours pretty much as the show was ending. Loved the show and would go again but I wouldn’t trust the kitchen.

The comedian was hilarious! The actual comedy bar and restaurant? The worst. Our food came out at the last 10 minutes of the show ( from over an hour wait), there's already an 18% gratuity tacked on to the bill AND YEY THEY ASK FOR MORE with first choice being another 18%. Also we got there 45 minutes early, only for the security guard to switch the line. I was literally next to enter, and was forced to back of the whole thing because someone in security doesn't under how queues work. Lastly, place is a giant fire hazard. Needs to be invested yesterday.

We were seated at a table directly next to the kitchen, this should not have even been an option. So many distractions from the loud kitchen noise, servers walking in and out constantly, as well as stopping and putting their trays on the ledge directly infront of us. As if that wasn’t bad enough there was a huge pole which blocked the entire middle portion of the stage. It was impossible to enjoy only being able to see a small portion of the stage and so much noise and distraction. We ended up leaving early. Not a good experience

Great place usually get to meet comics after the show

There is a bunch of rotating comics with jokes from last year who are spoiling your shows. They open for people we wanna see and say the same jokes from last year. Examples, Matt Price with his face tattoo dad joke, his vasectomy joke, his jail story, drugs, backwash baby. Its all old stuff from last year and i have personally seen it 4 times, not by choice. JB and his story about his son and calling out parents is old too. Ronaldo was nice with some new stuff but his opening ones were also heard before with no new material. I understand openers must be hard to find but quality control in terms of material should be enforced else its a stale venue with no interest in coming there cause once we tried to skip the openers cause of the stale content offered and you guys gave our reserved seats to someone else and made us sit in general admission so you can sell your food.

Worst. Service. Ever. If I was a comedian I'd never preform here. The Garage was packed full, like sardines. And there was only one waitress but many other staff just standing around, like the three different people that had to come fix the microphone with tape throughout the headliners act. It took the server over an hour to finally greet us and by then the kitchen was closed. We were told on our ticket food or drink had a required minimum. So we did not eat beforehand, expecting to eat there, big mistake. The comedians kept saying how our reactions were small or that a lot of jokes werent landing well, but really it was the fact I don't think my friend and I were the only ones about to go into a hypoglycemic shock. There was a lack of team effort and organization. I watched the waitress ask a table if they needed anything else while she was explicitly ignoring tables that hadn't been served yet, I think because she was clearly overwhelmed and no one was helping her. My friend had to BEG the bar for a water before she passed out, which if we HAVE to order through our waitress, why was there one waitress and 3 bartenders literally just standing around watching the show? Jokes on them we were prepared to eat a lot and tip well but we ended up taking our money elsewhere after the show and won't be back. Honestly I'm embarassed this is the impression comedians are getting from St. Louis. Do better.

The comedians are great. There are no bad seats. However, you will get slammed with a huge tab. A night out that you think is a reasonably price turns into a very expensive evening. You receive an email that everyone has to purchase two items and they will automatically add 18%to your bill. They say that they pay their wait staff a higher wage so you do not need to tip. Well, our server told us they don’t get a portion of the money and that she expected a tip. When we told her about the email she said that is how she makes her money and it was clear that she was upset with us. We were guilted into leaving her a tip. In the end you leave a total of a 40% tip after all of the extra costs. It’s a scam. So expect your night out including tickets to cost well over $120.
