I don't know where to begin. ? I saw a guy standing in what I thought was a garage and kept walking. Tried the front door and it was locked. Went back to the "garage" and said, "Uhh...is this...the entrance?!" It was. We used to frequent Henry's and always had a pleasant time. It's clear that the owners have really tried to build on and add to the space and atmosphere. They've really done a good job. Unfortunately, today, we had a horrible experience. When I went to the bar to order, I waited patiently as the bartender didn't acknowledge me and serviced others who came after me first. When she did come over she was dismissive and rude. On my second trip up, I again waited...
A must visit for a cold one while in the Soulard area or not. The staff (Brad & Christina) were fun, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were great hosts and resources for things to do in the area. The owner has done great things with this place both inside and out. It is beautiful, clean, and has a wonderfully eclectic interior and a fun, casual, and unique outdoor bar area, where we sat and enjoyed some of their specialties and local craft beers.
